At the very start of the book, the author explains his extensive real estate knowledge and achievements in selling well over 1000 properties which is very reassuring to know. It’s obvious that he’s put a lot of work into capturing his knowledge and experience and this book has been published as a result.

The book is broken down into four main parts – pricing, preparation, marketing and all aspects of paperwork. Each of these parts is clearly explained outlining key considerations that all potential home sellers should have at the forefronts of their minds. For example – how to price your home at the ‘right’ price from the very beginning taking into account the correct fair market value and the most important improvements to do to your home to make it more appealing to potential buyers.

There are so many hints and tips included in this book such as how to stage your home and make it ‘buyer ready’ by de-personalizing it, neutralizing it and adding accessories.

In the marketing chapter, the author explains many methods for marketing the home and provides practical tips on how to write an advert that works and stands out. The paperwork section breaks all the legal side of selling homes down nicely.

Overall, I think this is a really helpful toolkit for anyone looking to sell their home.
