These are just as sturdy as kilner jars, the lids have a similar plastic coating but my food never touches the lids, and they all stand up to pressure canning in the pressure cooker.
Very pleased with my initial purchase of 6, so went on to get another dozen, as kind gifts of them filled up do not always come back to me to be recycled,(reused and refilled!) and gifting can get expensive for the jars!
Thanks Amazon for stocking this essential. The only other thing you can do is to please start stocking the vacuum sealer for the lids , (as on the US site) and I will content indeed.
In case anyone is interested: I put a square of muslin over the mouth of the jar before screwing the lid on (see my photo). This way, I can fill up the jar, and drain it, without having to open it. It works just as well as anything you might buy on-line that is specifically for sprouting!
But otherwise great jars!
Placed an image of the cans empty and filled with smoothies.
I have to say it is not as air-tight as the Mason jars I used before but still a good product and so cheap.
The size is a bit smaller than i expected but overall a good product. I haven't used it for canning/jams... only for salad.

These work great!
Received all 5 packaged in a box with bubble wrap.
Been using it for over 24 hours now and there is no smell or anything getting out of them.
