An interesting session, with Dupree backed by The Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation, plus some extra brass players. It's pretty obviously unrehearsed, but still contains some good songs and fine playing (eg. one or two excellent solos from guitarist John Morshead), and Champion Jack is as on form as ever - always having fun, and sounding as though there was as much drinking as music going on!
A terrifically entertaining live performer, as I was lucky enough to witness on a few occasions in the 1960s.
