Its tough being nine. Tougher still is spending Christmas with Dad (Jason Beghe) at his new girlfriend Natalies (Joanna Going) mansion, even though its loaded with all the techno-gadgets any kid could hope for! But this Christmas, Kevin (Michael Weinberg) is really in hot water again, and so are Marv (French Stewart) and his sidekick (Missi Pyle), who are up to no good! With funnier and more high-tech crime-stopping wizardry at his disposal than ever, Kevin just might put these crooks on ice forever and keep his parents together while hes at it, in this uplifting, hilarious comedy the whole family is sure to love!

Don't waste your money on this rubbish! even out of curiosity, rent it if you are desperate to see it (which i don't reccomend).
I'm pleased to say that my Home alone 4 video is now resting safely at the bottom of a landfill site.
Doing this is easier said than done however, for lots of the original characters have featured again, including cheeky Kevin McCallister, but none of the original actors have returned to their parts. A child actor called Mike Weinberg takes on the plum role of Kevin, but is no Macaulay Culkin by any stretch.
The plot goes like this: Kevin's parents have now split up, leaving him to now live with his mother. This Christmas, he decides to spend the festive period with his father, who now lives in a mansion, belonging to his rich girlfriend. In true 'Home Alone' style, one of the robbers from the first two movies is back on the scene, and is now partnered up with a female criminal. They have their sights set on the mansion, and plan to rob it. Will the baddie ever learn that he isn't going to get the better of Kevin?
This fourth instalment in the series is a 'Home Alone' in name only, and really only worthy of one viewing. The characters might have the same names, but their attitudes are so completely different that they may as well have not. It's not a completely terrible film throughout, as it did merit the odd wry smile, but everything about it is very second rate, from the acting, the script and the plot. I would ideally have rated 'Home Alone 4' 1.5 stars, but as I can't, I've opted for a low two. If I'm completely honest, I don't think 'Home Alone 4' should have happened, and I wish they would leave the classics alone. It just isn't worth making an inferior film just for the sake of trying to make some quick money at the end.
