This video charts the life of some of Hollyoaks favourite characters over 2 days. The main star Geri's world is rocked when she finds out what dating a footballer is really like. Other characters such as Luke and Beth get caught up in the situation which may change their lives forever. Along side this main story are two separate ones involving Bens laddish behavior with Izzy and Matt and Chloe examining their relationship.
If you are wondering what happened over that weekend then this is a worthwhile video to watch. It also has the bonus of featuring 2 characters soon to depart-Luke and Geri.
Well recommended!!

Largely ignored during it's late-night premiere on Channel 4 back in 2001 and critically reviled ever since, Indecent Behaviour is not as completely dreadful as people make it out to be. Playing out over the events of one weekend, this special episode introduces three main strands that would play out over the next year of Hollyoaks including the loveless courtship and marriage of Geri and Jason, the love-and-hate relationship between Ben and Izzy and the comedic pairing of Chloe and Matt. There is also a coda to Luke's assault from the previous year and the introduction of both his younger sister Beth and Jason's sinister teammate Scott, who would later find redemption in 2003.

Despite it's 15 rating, Indecent Behaviour contains little more than some suggested intimacy and some below the belt crudeness. Whilst some of the characters are little more than thinly-sketched caricatures, the real fault here lies with a bland script and direction that lacks pace or energy. There are some curious editing decisions and lines of dialogue that are simply awful, which serve to make the men look like brainless thugs and the women to be venomous harpies. Where Indecent Proposal really falls short is that despite it's marketing and tagline ("sex, lies, betrayal"), the drama is curiously un-erotic and dull. Characters that could have made this drama more engaging such as slimy football manager Dion (Gary Webster) and sassy-yet-sexy Alyson (nicely played by Sarah-Jayne Steed) are left (excuse the football pun) on the side lines.

Whatever couldn't be shown at the pre-watershed time, was broadcast in this 'drama' close (or after midnight).

Those who are expecting surprises are going to be disappointed indeed, its like an episode of "Footballers Wives" with a few characters thrown in - for bad measure.

Ones who like cheap thrills (and little else) dressed up as drama, go ahead and have it in the DVD collection - I'll just wait for the next showing.

Or the paint to dry : and that's far much fun!.

As a fan of Hollyoaks I wanted with eager anticipation for the release of Indecent Behaviour and I wasn't dissapointed. It's absoulutely jam packed with Action, drama, sex a little bit of sport and a great storyline to boot. Not only is the main feature fantastic but the extra features on the DVD make it worth the purchase price alone, a shoot diary which give an amazing insight into the glamourous world of film making, cast interviews are really candid, especially the Gary Lucy one. And if you look really closely you might just see the hidden feature. It took me ages to find it but (here's a tip for you)if you go to [...] you can find out how to find it just a couple of clicks. Two thumbs up. When's the next one out? I'm waiting.

This was a v. good video for Hollyoaks fans. I would say that the parts with Luke in were the best parts. When he is reminded of his rape by Mark Gibbs in 2000, the actor, Gary Lucy, is brilliant in convaying how Luke is feeling. He tells Adam about his nightmares and that he is considering moving away. Really good acting and directing. The bit with Ben and Izzy was good too and ran parrallel to Luke being attacked by Scott and his mates which was good. The Geri bits was also good but i did'nt like the presence of the new Beth Morgan in the video. Nothing against the actress but Beth #2 is nothing like the old Beth and i did'nt think she brought anything to the video whatsoever.

This is a follow up its huge "Off On One" success with another video, "Indecent Behaviour". The video is to feature three stories, one of the central stories being Geri's relationship with footballer Jason, another being a light-hearted story with Ben and Izzy. Fans of the soap need not worry, however - it should be possible to watch the soap without having to watch the video as the action falls back into sync with the show. Well worth a buy and thoroughly entertaining! If you a keen Hollyoaks fan like myself, then it's a must buy!
