The one thing that I LOVE about trilogies is the continuation of the story and Nora Roberts always delivers! In Holding the Dream, life at Templeton House continues with a new baby on the way and with Laura not only trying to deal with the lose of her husband, but raising her two children as a single mother. We see this all through the eyes of our overworked and undervalued account, Kate. She has a major revelation dropped on her in the first chapter, which throws her emotions in turmoil as she questions her worth. When she is accused of embezzlement and forced to take a leave of absence, she is so stressed that makes herself ill. Luckily for her, the new manager of Templeton Hotel, Byron De Witt, is there to help her get through it.
As in the first novel, Holding the Dream see the development of the characters of Kate, Laura and Margo into strong and successful businesswomen and the love that there share not only with each other, but the men that capture their hearts. Kate is a headstrong, independent women but, for a short while, forgets just who she is and what she has. Fortunately for her, Byron, along with the rest of her family, are there to help her not only find herself, but to discover the woman she has become. An awesome read that will leave you wanting to find out Laura story and complete the journey.
If you have not read Daring to Dream, I strongly recommend that you do before reading Holding the Dream otherwise it will ruin the plot from the first novel.
A definite 5 stars for this book and also for Daring to Dream and the conclusion of the trilogy, Finding the Dream.

I have been slowly working my way through all of Nora Robert's Trilogys and I have not been disappointed by any I have read so far and I have nearly read them all!!

I bought this for my kindle for my holiday and I read all three books to this triology in 3 days by the pool I just couldnt put them down like all of her books I have read before.

This book focuses on a women who sees her only attribute being brains when compared to her two best friends that are practically sisters - her whole world is her job until she is forced to re-asses her life ambitions when someone accuses her of something she didnt do and everything she has worked for is taken from her

This is a continuation of the story of the Templetons but highlights the life of Kate. Kate's vulnerability is sensitively and well portrayed and the plot is a good one. The other Templetons continue to play a dominant part in the story and the arrival of a new member of staff to the hotel complex only adds pleasure to the reader. There is a certain pathos to the story which enhanced and somehow added depth to it. I thoroughly enjoyed this second book

what you would expect from Nora Roberts; excellent storytelling, thoughtful craftsmanship of the characters. Just an odd one or two phrases that are recognisable from book to book - if you've read many of this author's.

This is the third book in the Dream Trilogy - and I practically ate this one, she keeps me enthralled from beginning to end, she may be a little predictable - but it's the story from first to last page which keeps me hooked and I think she is great.

This was my first NR book. I didn't know it was part of a series before I started reading it, otherwise I would have read Daring to Dream first, but I must say, I really loved it, the characters were so well developped, I felt I could know them and I actually wished Kate and Byron and all the others were real.
After this book I finished the series and I started to reed everything I could put my hands on by NR, both the earlier and latter work. But this one will remain one of my favourites, I think only Three Fates is better.
Of course everyone's entitled to an opinion, but if you can, reed the Dream trilogy,it is weel worth it.
