To save a company how far would they go but when someone's plotting would they walk into their own personal hell hole.

After making a spontaneous decision during the ending of book one Olivia finds herself in a messy situation and the only way to get out of it is to share her burden with Noah, in a surprising turn of events Olivia decides it's okay to play along this facade of marriage as long as it's strictly professional but with Noah's charming ways and entertaining banter she's more confused then she ever was before. He wasn't supposed to be this supportive and she might just learn to give in .

Noah refused to give up if not for the company then his heart. After Olivia shares her burden with him Noah decides to be there for her no matter what but would she want to stay with him after his little secret sees the light of day. Everyone is hiding something and Noah just wants Olivia to feel like she has someone to catch her if she falls but whose gonna catch him, after biting his tongue one too many times he decides maybe this arrangement was more for his & Olivias benefit then the company's. Constantly trying to save their company from drowning Noah is fighting both ways between a evil bastard to showing the board of directors what their made of, this could go horribly wrong way before it even started.

With all the chasing around and taking down bad guys there's something bound to blow up , maybe it wasn't supposed to happen like this maybe you shouldn't let your guard down.

On the couch, wall , office table, office chair , bed, and or any other viable surfaces. If the company goes down it won't be before Noah goes down town.

Probably one of the most consecutive serial novellas I've read in a long while.

The second installment in Kendall's new series picks up pretty much exactly where it left off in Volume 1. Our couple is growing closer but Olivia doesn't realize that Noah is keeping secrets -both professional and personal- from her, and you just now it's going to explode in his face at some point.

Noah continues to be the star of this show for me. His concern and support for Olivia are so heartwarming even if some of it is misguided. Olivia is learning to let go of her inner control freak and she is growing as the depth of the feelings she has for Noah develop. However, the shocking cliffhanger at the end is going to set them back. There is no way Noah is going to be able to convince her that his actions were genuine and not because of the contract. Even though it was obvious where this was leading, it was still a tremendous place to end. Great job Ms. Ryan.

We have more sexy times in this installment and I love the chemistry between our couple. I am totally rooting for them. Big style.

The banter was witty, with plenty of sparks flying, except for a cringy scene where Noah is referencing intimate bodily parts using crude juvenile speak that was completely unnatural for a grown man to use.

The last installment left us at a great point in the story but I was a little dismayed that it was dismissed so quickly and easily in this volume. This could have been fleshed out to add greater tension and conflict. As it currently stands it was a blatant plot device to add maximum shock-factor without any real depth.

This book focuses mainly on the burgeoning relationship between Olivia and Noah and less on the corporate situation.

I'm finding it more and more difficult to suspend my disbelief as this series progresses.

Please note this is the second volume of a three-part serialisation, therefore, the review may contain spoilers to Hitched Volume One.

So why did Olivia pull a runaway bride on her wedding day? What does the ex-douche from hell have holding over her? How will Noah cope with being left at the altar? Just a few of the questions rattling around inside my head following the torturous ending of Volume One.

As I said Noah is a complete contradiction, I really couldn’t understand his aversion to romance when he is so utterly charming and sweet to Olivia. Putting the pieces together it is obvious Noah has always had feelings for Olivia, feelings other than admiration and respect. Yet, he hasn’t felt as if he was good enough for her  I KNOW 😯 Why he feels this way I have no idea, it may be the lack of female presence during his formative years or it may just be the simple sowing of oats. I HAVE NO CLUE, BUT it doesn’t correlate with the person we see when he is with Olivia. Charming, attentive and even romantic all while keeping tight hold on his alpha card 😆 Finally Noah begins to realise the depth of his feelings towards Olivia. The only problem how do you convince someone who your feelings are real when you are contractually obligated to be with them and continually reminded that it is a duty rather than a choice. Noah’s reputation and smartass banter keep an edge of insecurity where his feelings are concerned, although his true emotions show the battle he faces as his feelings for Olivia morph quickly into something true and real.

Olivia has always felt she has to be in control, never comfortable relying on others for help, she values her independence and has worked hard to project self-assurance in the male dominated career path she has chosen.
