Aubrey is a do-gooder who wants to build affordable housing for the less fortunate in Mexico. She goes to Cassa Bella as an uninvited guest, hoping to convince Juan Mendoza, to fund her humanitarian project.

Aubrey is enjoying the views when she notices a hot sexy guy striping across the way. Does she look away? Hell no, can't say I blame her ;). Her tongue is practically hanging out lol. Aubrey and Diego have mind blowing sex: the completely dirty and filthy kind. As events unfold, Aubrey finds herself on the run with Diego.

She builds things and wants to help others whereas; he destroys things and terminates people for a living. Can two opposites attract?

Wow, this was a brilliant book from start to finish. It's well written, funny, entertaining with lots of action and suspense.

I couldn't stop laughing at Aubrey in the beginning when she's blatantly glued to the window, drooling over Diego stripping lol - she's definitely naughty but I can't say I blame her for looking ;). The sex scenes were scorching hot and don't even get me started on the Spanish dirty talking - I'm fanning myself - could it get anymore sexier! Aubrey was strong, independent but naive and made bad choices that continuously put her in harms way. I loved their bantering it was always entertaining and funny, I couldn't stop laughing when she told him, she hoped he got screwed by a fish lol.

Diego was hot, dreamy and damn sexy. He's cocky, arrogant and at times I felt like punching him,

"yeah. Well, you know what I like. When your mouth is closed and your legs are spread.

Loved it!! That's where I'll start.

I have read this author before, her Worth the Fight series was amazing but i stupidly forgot to keep tabs on her and now realize I've missed several of her books. This will be remedied!

This is book 3 in the Deadliest Lies series. This is the story of Aubrey. She's in Mexico trying to do good in the world. After a tragedy she vows to help the poor by using her architect skills to build them affordable homes of their own getting them out of the slums. She's initially conned out of money she invested to get the project up and running and is now resorting to trying to get a rich man her friends boyfriend knows to invest in her project. They attend a party at his house so she can get a meeting with him. Little did Aubrey know what kind of business man he was. While staying at his house she meets Diego. Every woman's wet dream she's instantly attracted to him and for once in her life considering doing something reckless like seducing him. They're both there for different reasons after the same man. She finds herself in the wrong place at the wrong time or maybe it's the right place at the right time for her.

I read this in record time. I absolutely devoured it! I loved every single second of it!.

Aubrey was such a great character. Innocent, Naive, do-gooder but also sexy, funny and brave. She finds herself at every turn in Diego's path and what a path to be in! He's sexy, dangerous and skilled but he's also protective, kind and romantic. You will fall in love with both of them.

The story is action packed. You think they're out of danger and boom something else happens. Fate throws them together regardless of whether they want to or not.

4* read.

This was a refreshing and different read from what I've been reading at the minute. A funny read full of drama and suspense I was gripped till the end.

Diego was your alpha bad boy who you feel like smacking in the face half the time but it was that passion that made me fall in love with him. Aubrey is a do-gooder and also quite naive which shows a lot through this book. Her and Diego together were hilarious at times and the banter between them had me laughing out loud on a train full of people who looked at me like I was mad. Another great read, I look forward to the next.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sexy and dangerous! 6 Dec. 2016

Seducer Diego is as sexy as he is dangerous. In many ways, Aubrey is his opposite. She's intelligent but also an innocent, who keeps getting in the way of hitman Diego's assignment. What follows is a scorching hot romantic suspense novel that kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved these two together! Highly recommend!

I absolutely loved Hit Man: it was sexy, steamy and the characters were likeable and complemented each other nicely. I loved how their relationship slowly developed and intensified as the story progressed. I had high expectations after reading Mercenary and Michele didn't disappoint, she delivered a book which exceeded my expectations. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

4.0 out of 5 stars What do you get when you put a hit man and an architect with big dreams together? 7 Dec. 2016
By TJOly - Published on Amazon.com

*I received a copy of Hit Man from St. Martin's Publishing and Net Galley in exchange for a voluntary and honest review**

Hit Man by Michele Mannon is book three in her Deadliest Lies series. This is my first book by the author and I read this book as a stand alone without problems.

What do you do when you gave your life savings to a person who promised to invest in sustainable housing for Mexico City residents who can afford a house that isn't put together with what they can find? You go stay the week-end with a Mexican billionaire with rather shady ties, but while Aubrey is there she finds a gorgeous man skinny dipping in the pool that is suspended over a cliff. Hmm, you wonder if Diego is as good as he looks, Aubrey soon finds out that he is after a night of fantastic sex. But when they both are soon on the run for their lives because they know too much.

Diego comes from the gangs in Mexicali and is now using his skills to bring down a drug/weapons mobster when he meets Aubrey who threatens the time he's been undercover trying to find out what is being shipped into the compound and warehouse in Acapulco. But can he stay away from Aubrey long enough to make his boss, Hayden, happy with the information he has found?

While the book is good it really takes off around the 65% mark with both the hero and heroine on the run. But when Aubrey visits the mother of one of the children she has been working with (who took her passport) they soon find out that the Senora has more secrets than the mobster.

5.0 out of 5 stars Coming For You... 7 Dec. 2016
By Julianne Knutson - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Hit Man is the third installment of the Deadliest Lies series by Michele Mannon.

He always gets what he wants.

The seasoned seducer, who probably charms the panties off of every woman he meets. Diego is handsome. Arrogant. Dangerous. Far more dangerous than anyone I've ever met. And with one look from across a crowded room he has me; hook line and sinker, I'm his for the night.

Diego is not a man to mess with, I know that. I just can't seem to resist his kiss, his touch. But can I trust him with my heart, with my body?

I'm being hunted for something I may or may not have seen, and Diego is my only way out of a world of death and destruction. If only I can believe his dark promises.

Be still my beating heart. That seducer, Diego has stolen my heart! Diego doesn’t believe he’s a hero, but whenever Aubrey get’s herself into trouble, he’s right there helping her. He might not be on a white horse when he’s doing the saving, but this man has a heart of gold. Aubrey and Diego have hot chemistry that keeps the midnight oil burning. Along with great chemistry, Michele Mannon gives us suspense that just keeps on building. Hit Man was a fantastic read and I can’t wait for the next installment of the Deadliest Lies series.

I highly recommend the Deadliest Lies series!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hit Man is a Massive Hit! 6 Dec. 2016
By Knotty Girl Reviews - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Can I just say Oh. My.God! This was one read I definitely couldn't put down. It was a case of, "One more chapter and I'll go to bed." next thing you know, it was the epilogue. This was one hot and sexy read, with a big dash of suspense thrown in.

Aubrey is an architect taking a year off of work after graduating design school. She's down in Mexico City teaching ESL to over privledged kids. Her charge for the day ends up being the boy she saves when a nearby bomb goes off and he nearly gets hit by a car. But the man who thanks her shows up in a dress, then says something truly awful.

When she goes to a party at a rich, playboys home the next night, she sees a man who she'd seen strip and dive in the pool earlier in the day. And from the description...I'll just let you read for yourself. Diego is one smoking hot, dirty man. Aubrey ends up in a whole lot of trouble, and at times, you can't quite figure out whether to love Diego or want to slap him. But...as usual, I come in later to this series, so I'm definitely going back for the first two books.

I Voluntarily read an Advanced Reader Copy of this book, which in no way influenced my review
