Rosenfelder has done it again - produced something which ostensibly has no practical use yet absorbs much of my time. His virtual world of Almea does not exist outside his imagination, but the care and craft he has put into designing its geography, history and cultures sheds some valuable insights into how own world developed. Most of the information in this book is available online, but as someone who doesn't enjoy prolonged reading of luminous screens, this book is an ideal portal to the ever growing world of the Verdurians and their friends and foes.
