I enjoyed this book, about Gabe and Bobbi, although Gabe behaves like a total jerk towards Bobbi for about half the book. They have been the best of friends since childhood, and she has loved him most of her life. At a party she gets drunk and kisses him, which startles him, and makes him want to turn their relationship into friends with benefits, but very much in secret, no-one must know because the scruffy car mechanic does not fit the image of girlfriend to a CEO. She goes along with it because she thinks it will be the only way she can get close to him, but it makes her terribly unhappy.

Their emotions are extremely well written, and you are told enough about their backgrounds to understand why both of them act as they do. This is a well thought out book, I didn't enjoy it quite as much as the other two books in the series (so far) because Bobbi was not displayed as a strong woman, whereas she must be, having set up a business as a car mechanic in spite of the opposition of her father and three strong-willed brothers, but I can understand why the author chose to write it this way. The characters for the most part do seem very real.

I have to be honest with this book. It is the third book in the unwanted series and I loved book 1 (have read it 3 times and I'm sure will read again), love book 2 (also read a few times), but this one just seemed to really drag for me.

Gabe we have met before briefly and he is a really likable character but has commitment issues, which aren't necessarily a problem in a storyline, but this dragged out for most of the book with then quite a rushed ending. Bobbi is a great character but again doesn't put a stop to the hidden relationship drama.

I don't think it's necessary to read this one if you have read the previous, but I do think this author is highly talented so I wouldn't not recommend the book- it just wasn't for me.

This is the third book in this series and I think it's the best one. It's not perfect. It's predictable and a tad cheesy but it was a pleasant read.

Bobbie and Gabe have known each other since they were kids but 6 years ago Bobbi realised she was in love with Gabe. There's not much background on their friendship. At a party when Bobbi is drunk she kisses Gabe and from that moment he's obsessed with her when he has previously never looked at her in that respect. I'm not a big fan of friends to lovers stories as I always find it a bit odd when they suddenly have the hots for one another.

Gabe and Bobbie begin a sexual relationship but Gabe doesn't want anyone to know about them. However, he can't help get jealous everytime men are around Bobbi, he's even jealous of his twin brother. I was enjoying the story but around 60% the reason for their fall out seemed a bit ridiculous and seemed to come out of nowhere. I found Gabe's actions to get Bobbi back a bit cheesy.

Overall, this is a light easy read. A cute love story with not much angst and a HEA. I will give it 3.5 stars as I found it dragged a bit from 60% and then seemed to have a rushed ending. However, I do think this has been the authors best book so far. I'm hoping the next book will feature Gabe's twin brother Chase.

It's definitely a very good book... But I must admit it's most probably the lesser one of the three out yet! The main character (the woman) is rather self centred and immature, and I found it annoying at times. It's also a little bit more predictable and boring. The unwanted wife and the husbands regret were far more entertaining.
However, very well written story!

The story line was good. I love continuity, catching up with other people that I have read about. Natasha Anders is a new author to me but I have loved every book I have read of hers. Can't wait to read more.

What a lovely ending to a lovely romantic story. Gabriel and Roberta were such good friends for so long it came as a shock to Gabe to be given a drunken kiss from his best friend, therefore changing the dynamics of their friendship. It was wonderful to see the change it brought to their lives.

It got going halfway in and I did relax at that. Although I did enjoy it and as is my norm wanted to continue to read way past my bedtime, there were parts I wanted to be extended and explored whilst others cut. That said a good read and one I would read again.
