I really enjoyed High School Hangover by Stephanie Hale even more than I enjoyed her other series the Aspen trilogy. Stephanie Hale has amazed me again with her original story lines and funny scenes. She always manages to put a smile on my face by the end of each of her books and that is something not a lot of authors have managed.
This story was original, funny and exciting. I fell in love with Jack over and over again and constantly felt the need to shake Laney repeatedly throughout the book. I loved all the senior citizens and I have a soft spot for Ginger.
In total, everyone should read this book because it will leave you satisfied and extremely happy.
I give this book an 8.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun 21 May 2013
By CK - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
I really identified with the main character Laney as spending my time at parties was never my idea of fun due to extreme shyness however I think that is what made Laney's journey so funny! There were of course some serious undertones with Laney being thrown into the back of a moving van unconscious after a bad reaction to an energy drink with the very good lesson that sometimes you can't trust someone just because you know their name, or have a crush on them. Of course things work out in the end with quite an adventure in store for our heroine along with her learning that sometimes it is just best to go with the flow as you simply can't plan for everything.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best book I've read! 1 Dec. 2013

I am in love with this book, it is funny, relatable, and just plain out good! I will be reading this book again. And it is perfect for teenagers and if your not a senior than it will definitely leave you thinking about how you graduation will turn out, no matter what kind of person you are! And I just adored and envied Jack and Laney's romance!! I hope I can find love like that one day. I also thought it was kind of unpredictable the way everything turned out, it left you wanting to keep reading and turning the page every time! I DEFINITELY recommend this book to anyone and will be on the lookout for more books by this author and similar to this one!!! :D
4.0 out of 5 stars Great humor 18 Aug. 2013

I really loved this book. It was such a fun read. The lively dialogue and rowdy seniors (both high school and otherwise) made this an enjoyable read. I was a little disappointed with Jacks secret infatuation of Laney and his knowledge an means to get home, but reluctance because he wanted to spend time with her. I mean dude, strike up a conversation. And Leo was a total skieve with no redeeming qualities.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must read!! 2 Dec. 2012

Stephanie has another hit with High School Hangover. As always the characters are fun and involved with a little mystery and young love. Her books always leave me wanting to read more. A must read for even the "not so young" young adults.
5.0 out of 5 stars LOVED IT!!! 6 Aug. 2013

I absolutely loved this book!! Everyone experiences a crush at some point in their high school life, that wild party, and finding out things about themselves they would only dream of. It may not all happen like it happened to Laney but it happens. I wish it would have told what happened to Leo's family.
