I really like this movie. It's basically a spoof on high school set movies like Dangerous Minds and Save The Last Dance. Jon Lovitz plays a teacher who chooses to work in an inner city school rather than a posh school like his father. There is so much to love about this film. The jokes come thick and fast and there are a lot of sight gags that make it very reminiscent of the Naked Gun movies. It's a film that I find myself watching over and again.

After garbage like National Lampoons Loaded Weapon i gave up watching spoofs. 20 years after its release I gave High School High a go and it's actually pretty good. Not up there with The Naked Gun or Airplane but probably on a par with the Hot Shots movies & a whole lot better than I expected.

God Knows I wanted to like this Flick,when John Lovitz is on top form he can be Really funny but this continuation of the whole Airplane/Naked Gun style Humour is more misses than hits.

This film is hilarious. I used to have it on vhs and I've finally got it on DVD. My one minor quibble was that it didn't have the dangerous minds spoof cover with Jon Lovitz in a wig

Another great classic comedy by the great filmmaker 'David Zucker' (Naked Gun, Airplane!)
Jon Lovitz stars with Tia Carrera to bring a great urban comedy about two educators teaching bad kids in a rough high school.
Jon Lovitz plays Richard Clark who believes that there is no such thing as a 'Bad Kid'. Richard trys to make the students want to learn but he'll have trouble doing that in this comedy.
But he'll find away because 'There's a new teacha in the Hood!'
