Running time approx 72 minutes.25 tracks pulled from the period 1949 to 1954 and has the rare "Comin' thru the Rye" taken from a Radio Luxembourg broadcast. Also has 8 songs from Denny Dennis recorded during the period 1951 to 1953 including a charming duet with Alma Cogan. You can also hear regular Johnnie Eager. Line notes by Hugh Palmer give a good insight into Sid Phillips wide-ranging skills. Excellent sound quality.

Sid Phillips has been a favourite of mine for many years. His music is lively and entertaining and I can never tire of hearing him. His clarinet playing is second to none. It's just a shame he is no longer with us.
