A really enjoyable read. Written cleverly, snappy, informative and hugely enjoyable. I wager than even the most diehard of Hibs fans will find interesting facts and events to do with Hibs in it that they themselves were unaware of, or had forgotten about. Suitable for old and young, diehard and part-timer alike. An ideal gift, or special treat. Something different and refreshing about Hibs from a new author.

An excellent book on this fascinating but distressingly underperforming team. No set of supporters should have to put up with the feckless management and supine selling of star players that Hibs fans have had to suffer over the past 150 years (almost!) but they still come up with a whole range of excellent authors and books. This book is an excellent addition to the libray of any football fan, including those of us whose first loyalties lie elsewhere. For Hibs fans, I think it is a "sine qua non" for Christmas. The Famous Five, the Dryburgh Cups, other teams called Hibs and the English goalkeeper who did a "Frank Haffey in reverse" at Hampden in 1921- they are all there. Fascinating stuff for Hibees and even Jambos and Tims (like this reviewer!)

This is a trivia book first and foremost, but it's written in an engaging and humorous style that will make you want to go back to it time and time again. Great value and would make a perfect present for the Hibs fan in your life.

Great bit of reading. Utterly depressing when re-read following the Terry Butcher season due to him and his cohorts wazzing over half of the achievements set out by the club in the first 139 years. Utter imposter. I hope his next turd is a hedgehog (Butcher I mean, not the Author).

A great book , with interesting and varied facts surrounding the famous old club. As well as being absorbing in it's own right it is also a good reference point. Thoroughly enjoyable.
