The design is very classic and understated, which is what originally drew me to it. The face of the watch is uncluttered and easy to read (including the date window). Changing the time/date is a breeze with the screw-in crown. I have two main complaints about the watch thus far. The first complaint is that the watch hands are supposed to be luminescent, but they really only glow when the watch has been in sunlight for a very extended period of time. I don't usually wear the watch when doing outdoor activities, so this is a bit of a problem for me, but it may not affect you if you wear it outdoors more. Secondly, the clasp on the stainless steel band scuffs up fairly easily. As I mentioned before, I don't wear the watch when exercising or doing similar activities, but the clasp still scuffs quite a bit just from normal wear (I suspect a lot of it to be from where my hand rests when typing on the PC keyboard). It isn't too big of a deal to me because it's difficult to notice, but I wanted to point it out anyway. Those two complaints are the reasons I am giving this watch four stars instead of five, but overall this is a great watch and I am sure you will be pleased with it if you decide to purchase one.
