When ordering this, you will receive the complete collection of what is quite possibly the best Role-Playing-Game series ever. The "Heroes of Might & Magic" brand has a huge fan base worldwide, and with good reason; the intricate story line of the various campaigns and the quality of the games' graphics and gameplay make them celebrated items of passtime.
What you get in the mail is a box containing 6 discs: one CD for each of the two first games, two for Heroes III, one DVD for Heroes IV and one for Heroes V. None of these contain the dreaded StarForce anti-piracy program, as this was removed by the producers after loud objections from the fans. Regrettably, there are no manuals to speak of. The collection gives you the games and nothing more. That being said, guides to the game have been published online. All in all, you are getting five games for the price of one.
Heroes V is (to be frank) not that great. It's what you might call "OK". The earlier games, however, are simply fantastic - and with the vast user-made material archive available on various fansites, you get thousands of hours of playing time with this collection. And who knows - once the producers open up for the fans to make campaigns for Heroes V as well, the latest game might just pick up some speed. After all, upon release, Heroes IV wasn't considered all that great either.
