Product Description

Set off on a puzzle adventure through three of the most famous civilizations in history, the Roman, the Vikings and the Incans.
You play as a young scientist and his pet monkey, who are travelling back through time to rescue ancient artefacts (or in the monkey’s case, steal ancient jewels.)
You’ll have to cut chains or ropes to drop coloured balls into matching pots. It may sound easy, but the taxing physics puzzles involve bizarre objects like crossbows, catapults, fountains and volcanoes. It certainly makes for addictive gameplay. Watch out—things get tricky and you’ll need to use your head, and some quick reactions to solve later levels - especially if you want those bonus diamonds!
Easy to pick up and play, with colorful visuals and classic puzzle gameplay, Civiballs is a brain teasing adventure not to be missed.

Civiballs is a great little puzzle game, the objective is to get the coloured balls into the corresponding coloured pot, collecting the gems along the way. You do this by selectively cutting the chains of the hanging balls at opportune moments to utilise the moving parts of the level, be it platforms, crossbows or even cannons. It's all wrapped up in historic-civilisations themed levels - there are three worlds, each with forty stages. Rome is all pillars and amphorae, Vikings is all ice, snow, logs & horned helmets etc. Inca is temples and stone blocks. A fun and entertaining puzzle app. Recommended.

I'm not sure how "educational this multi-level logic puzzle is, though it's entertaining enough for all ages. Basically, you cut chains to direct swinging balls to fall and roll into the appropriately coloured container.

This is much like Spirit Catcher in many ways, but Spirit Catcher does this so much better. For some reason Civiballs also occassionally refuses to start, claiming lack of network connection. It's a standalone game so it *should* be able to function indefinitely without being connected to the Internet, but no, just when you have five minutes to spare, bam! you can't play. This might be acceptable for devices with built-in 3G connections but for a tablet with wi-fi only you can't guarantee there will be a suitable connection available. Even if you're playing this on a device with a 3G SIM, there's no guarantee you have signal coverage, or that you you're not roaming, so have turned off data. This could be a useful time-waster when you're travelling, but just when the captain says you can use electronic devices you'll be stymied by this app... Taking a base 3 stars as average, minus 1 for not being as good as Spirit Catcher, minus another 1 for the failures to start without an Internet connection.

This a nice physics based game, fun and a reasonably good time waster.
People with green/red Colour-blindness or confusion stay clear though, its just too difficult to distinguish between the green/red pots which is a major part of the game and ruins it slightly.

Bright, engaging graphics. Puzzles that make me think and are different each time. I'm enjoying it a lot. But I've only played a few and already I can see that I might need quick reactions and if it reaches the point where the game depends on me thinking and reacting quickly, I'll stop playing, That isn't my thing.

I got this game as the free app of the day thinking it will be ok ,however every time I play this the same ad always pops up unnexpectedly.very annoying. Also some levels are impossible to complete and some times it doesn't work the way you want it to so you have to start it all over again.I'm glad I got this free as it is not worth 59p.

Nice puzzle, reminds me of Lemmings in more ways than one. Can be a bit frustrating at times when you spend ages trying to work out the solution, but I suppose that's the name of the game.

This is a good game quite addictive in fact but it's a bit non responsive IE a lot of the time when you slice the chain nothing happens so you miss your intended move.
