5 Stars!
Her Dom is book one in A.D. Justice’s Dominic Powers series. I LOVED IT!!! This is the first novel I've read by A.D. Justice but this has just made sure that it won’t be the last I’m definitely going to check out everything else she’s written. And I’m waiting on tenterhooks for book two. Holy Hell I can’t get over how that ended … like WHAT THE F**K HAPPENED. I expected part of it but not the other part and I’m pretty much speechless that never happens. Completely and utterly.. MIND BLOWN!!
This novel is written from Dominic Powers POV as if he’s telling the story from memory rather than present time. I love way this book has been written it flows so well and makes it a pleasure to read. The characters drew me in immediately and the base level connection you could see between Dominic and Sophia instantly draws your attention as a reader and makes you wonder how their relationship is going to progress throughout the story. I found that A.D. Justice is brilliant at creating tension within a scene I constantly found myself chomping at the bit to get to the next part to find out what is going on. The sexual tension she creates is amazing it had me feeling like I needed a cold shower just waiting for their chemistry to just explode into something amazing and that it did, I loved it. I love how Dominic sort of speaks about his dominant side as if its a separate entity, like its it’s own person before he fully re-embraces it with Sophia. For 16 months he’s kept the Dom at bay but the second Sophia steps into his office he’s ready to just let the Dom in him loose. Sophia definitely brings it out in him and he finds himself fighting for control more than he usually would need to.

This is one fabulous book, I loved it... Brilliant storyline, so unexpected. Really well written, such a caring Dom. Everything throughout the book seemed so believable sometimes even beautiful. I wish I could rate this book a 10. I just hope book 2 isn't too long coming.

"I'm her employer. But, that's not all I want to be to her and I feel myself getting closer to crossing that line."

Dominic Powers is the CEO of his own company on the search to find a new right hand man as his business is going from strength to strength. Hiding his alter ego from every one he works with, preferring to keep his dominant side leashed one last interview awakens the beast within. He knows from the moment he sees her that she is something special, but can he keep it purely professional?

Sophia Vasco is the last candidate for the role, proving herself to be an exceptional candidate she soon secures a position as Dominic's right hand woman. A contradiction to him she is uber confident in her position of authority but easily gets embarrassed by his close proximity. Soon the mystery is revealed as she confessed she has trained as a sub, the instilled training hard to break around the naturally dominant Dominic.

Her Dom is the turbulent journey of employee/employer bounds that are stretched as the desires they feel overwhelm all common sense. Breaking down her previous abusive training at the hands of an inexperienced dom Dominic tries to re introduce His Angel to the pleasures of total submission. Their story is a soft build up to the Dim/Sub culture focusing on the need for trust and mural respect. Their attraction to one another over rules Dominic's common sense and he reveals the secrets that led to him burying his dominant side...

The twists and turns are unexpected. The ending...well it's just cruel! Talk about cliffhangers, that's a magnificent one! Who is His Angel? Once the trust has been broken is there anyway to claw it back? What really happened that night that forever haunts his dreams....ooooh so many questions!

This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review.

I really liked the whole idea of Her Dom. You don't come across many books that are told through the male character's point of view and I feel that it made the book that much more enjoyable.
Dominic is a strong, handsome and independent character who owns his own company and is in desperate need for a personal assistant. This search brings him in contact with Sophia. I loved Sophia, she is bold, intelligent, respectful and a little shy.
The relationship between both characters is hot but also respectful. I loved how each character was testing each other, especially Dominic with his protectiveness over Sophia. It is obvious that Sophia isn't used to having much attention, but watching Dominic look after her warmed my heart.

I really liked the mystery about Sophia's past, and you only get slight hints and little bits of the puzzle. It kept you reading and interested all throughout the story.
Dominic had a loving family, and I was not expecting the parent's relationship (read it, you'll love it), and he just wants to expose Sophia to a loving environment. But something lingers in the background of Dominic and it made me eager to find out what.

Oh, and if you loved hearing about Steele Security, they pop up in this book. I loved the slight cross-over as it made the books seem more real to me.
This book has drama, angst, love, a little bit of humour, playfulness, smart-ass comments and sexy men and their brooding! I loved getting to see some more of Tucker and Shadow, and they played a big role in the drama that this book throws at you.
