Product Description

About the Author

T.K. Leigh, otherwise known as Tracy Leigh Kellam, is the USA Today Best Selling author of the Beautiful Mess series. Originally from New England, she now resides in sunny Southern California with her husband, dog and three cats, all of which she has rescued (including the husband). She always had a knack for writing, but mostly in the legal field. It wasn’t until recently that she decided to try her hand at creative writing and is now addicted to creating different characters and new and unique story lines in the Contemporary Romantic Suspense genre. When she’s not planted in front of her computer, writing away, she can be found running and training for her next marathon (of which she has run over fifteen fulls and far too many halfs to recall). Unlike Olivia, the main character in her Beautiful Mess series, she has yet to qualify for the Boston Marathon.

WOW a powerful, heartbreaking, beautiful book. I loved it !!

Marley and Cameron are twins, when their father dies their Mother loses her way through grief, her choice of men is less than endearing and for the next 3 years from the age of 8 years old Marley is subjected to abuse from this man. Cameron cannot stand to listen to his sisters cry's at night for one minute longer and decides to take matters into his own hands. Thus results in them being shipped off to their Aunts house to live and try to carry on with their lives and rebuild for their future.
Marley and Cameron's relationship is a joy to read. They are close, as twins normally are and he is her protector in all things. He try's to be strong for the both of them because Marley does not cope well and the past constantly haunts her, making her vulnerable. She is sad, damaged and crying inside for help.
I find it hard to review this book but you will experience all sorts of emotions while reading. Sadness, happiness, devastation, joy, relief and many tears. I myself wasn't prepared for the ending of this book, but I applaud T K Leigh for writing about this subject matter that we know exists all around us, and from reading this book I myself have learned many things.
If it's only one thing you do please read this amazingly beautiful soul searching book, you won't be sorry !!

Where to start with this review. This had me hooked from the start and deeply regretting not reading it when I first bought it !!
You'll need tissues and once you start reading it your plans for the day will go out the window !!! I seriously couldn't put this down it really did pull me in. It's so beautifully written with so much emotion that you feel the pain Marley first s going through, empathize with Can and want to slap a few characters too.
Absolute must read !!

I finished reading this book over a week ago. I am still not in a controlled head space to review it with the justice it deserves.

I was totally hooked within minutes; completely invested in the characters. I knew this was going to be a good read.

It was. I was being hurtled along at such a pace then...then...I don't have the words to explain how the author ripped me in two. How could? What would? Oh dear Jesus what will happen now?

I saw a cartoon that said 'you know you are reading a good book when you stop, stare into space, and utter Fuuuck'.

I...Fuuuck...I don't know how she did it but T.K. Leigh slaughtered me with what is most certainly the best book of 2015 so far and is high up in my top 20 ever.

You have to read it. No review can explain...Fuuuck.

I write this with tears in my eye's. What a story, what a journey! Sadly a true story for many. This author has really captured the truth of the real journey that someone goes through after being abused. Whether it be when you are a little kid or a teenager or adult. It's all the same journey. If I could give this book ten stars it still wouldn't be enough. Well done to the author and thank you for sharing your hard work with us.x

WOW!! My eyes are still red and puffy from ugly crying my way through this one. Be warned - keep a box of tissues handy when you start this one, it is heartbreaking yet beautiful!

I haven't read Heart of Light yet, which I am glad about because I think that it might have given away what happened in this one and it wouldn't have had the impact on me that it did.

Besides the main abuse subject matter, I liked the fact that the author was upfront about the reality of today's youth in that many of them do have sex before they reach the age of 18. While this did occur in the book it was handled delicately and tactfully by creating gentle scenes which express the love and trust in the relationships without being too graphic. The sensitive issues were also handled with great care and respect as well as highlighting the need for change of perception from people and sending a positive message of not judging others.

This book literally broke my heart while reading it. I fell in love with all of the characters and couldn't believe the maturity of Cameron when he was faced with everything. I will definitely be reading his book as well as Brianna and Doug's ones to see how Marley has impacted their lives further down the line

I have read a few of this authors books in the last week but this has been the best by far, emotional. Heartbreaking and amazingly well told to the point u feel like u know everyone in the story. Not sure I can read any more of her books without being a complete wreck as already halfway there. Thank u for such amazing books. Go teamcam

The amount of times I put this book down then picked it back up was uncountable! The story is fab! Bit depressing at times and very very emotional! I couldn't stop the flow of tears, I would definitely recommend reading this. But read them all in the right order. The beautiful mess series first the cams story - the heart of light then marleys story x all of them fab!! Just make sure you have plenty of tissues x also the playlists are great!
