Product Description

Review

'I recommend this book as essential reading for a first year undergraduate nursing programme entitled Health and Health Studies, which includes subjects like health, health promotion, social policy, psychology and sociology…this book is very relevant as it gives a good introduction to the key subjects taught in our first year foundation programme.'
Olivia Brittian, Formerly Undergraduate Programme Director for Nursing and Health Care, University of Glasgow, UK

'…The book as it stands is generally very popular with students and staff. It is easy to work from and covers all the basics.'
Stephen Brindle, Programme Director for BSC Health Sciences, University of Aberdeen, UK

This book is on the reading list for my university degree course. I have not put it down since buying and is now full of sticky note markers for my lectures.

The content is essential for those doing health related studies.

It is available in the university library but it is worth buying and great to reference from.

Love Naidoo and Wills books :)

Dont look at the review below. If your writing an essay etc it is great for finding little bits of research instead of reading an entire boring report on one little thing. This book saves time and give you the references at the end of each chapter.
