I'm an enthusiastic beginner, fit from cycling and running so don't mind running all over the court for three quarters of an hour or more, but still a newbie. I get owned by more experienced players but am improving steadily. So, when choosing my first racket I tried a few different ones (belonging to friends), read reviews and recommendations, and then chose this racket, based on my findings and my budget.

I've had it for a few months now and can't find a bad thing to say about it. The truth is, the biggest difference in a squash game is the player's own ability and not the racket. However, my lack of experience aside, the racket allows me to hit some very powerful shots and some nice gentle touches. I prefer it all round to the other rackets I tried.

So yeah... great stuff, even for a newbie.

I bought this racquet a few months ago, it is beautiful, very light, head heavy and perfect for my style of play.

It has had a few bumps with the wall and been dropped a couple of times - seems as strong as when I first used it - no complaints!

After previously using a heavier Head squash racket (Head 140CT Tour Squash Racket Multi -) for the last two years, I was keen to transfer over to a mid-weight racket, without a heavyweight price tag. The Head Microgel 125 racket, which appeared good value for money with positive Amazon reviews, arrived to me promptly from the seller (although in a cardboard box better sized for a television), with a useful breathable racket cover and I have since used the racket in multiple league matches and drilling sessions. The reduction in weight is really helping me with my shot making. The one negative I would have to highlight is the quality of the grip, but I have since added on my own favoured Head grip over the top. Sorted. Other reviewers have commented about the quality of racket strings, but I certainly have no complaints.

I purchased the racket as I wanted to experiment with a different string bed. balance and weight of racket are ok if a little head heavy for the more critical. The strings are prone to shifting considerably during a long rally which I found to be slightly distracting. The racket needs to be restrung with better string from the start. The racket has now been relegated to my "help a mate out" racket when they are caught short.

Love the feel of the racket. The weight is also just right & the grip is amazing.
Improved my backhand shots & pick from the back wall a lot.

This is a superb racket at a really good price. I have bought several of these and keep going back to it. I took the super saver delivery option and it was delivered in a couple of days which I was pleasantly surprised about. Well done to the seller dispatching it!

Strings are soft as limp noodles!!! Not sure if I received a defective racket or if it's just the way they are but either way I'm seriously miffed. I specifically purchased this racket in favour of restringing my other two Head rackets (which happen to be pretty good actually) but as it happens the strings on the new one are softer than my old rackets. So much so that after every single shot the strings have shifted quite badly.

I really like this racket. The only negative thing I have to say about it, is that the strings have a tendency to move out of place. Other than that the feel, speed and power is perfect for me.
