The Cotswold Brash soil in which it rests is hard and unforgiving. But for those who persist (like Jeremy Clarkson), it yields malting barley of unusually high quality – ideal for brewing. After harvest, our master brewer painstakingly and meticulously combines the barley with select hops, yeast and the purest local water before allowing it to mature for up to 6 weeks, during which time it develops its distinctively clean flavour. 1, you will probably think £35 for 12 bottles is expensive. Well it is but I’m going to be honest the favour is well balanced and can taste all the favours from the 1st sip to a nice pleasant after taste. I give it 5 stars just for taste because that’s all matters. However the bottles, bottle caps and labels are poor in terms of quality for the price for what is advertised as a Premium Lager. The taste is all that matters anyway.

The anticipation was building for the beer to arrive. Disaster..... Missed delivery so had to wait another day. It was worth the wait. Upon popping the top the lovely fresh smell of lager filled my nose. Quickly into the glass and down the throat it went down a treat. Thoughts of Clarkson falling out with kaleb whilst cutting the barley filled my head. Well done to the brewers and the farm. A lovely lager.
