this book gives a great insight into stephen jones, and a great history of his work and muses. it also gives some fundamentals of being a milliner, which i loved. he comes across so approachable and passionate, which really makes the book 'open'.

I bought this while researching hats and hat designers for a college project and it is an inspiring, luscious book, full of beautiful photos, amazing hats, and interesting insights. It is also easy to read, informative, well referenced and written, I found it very useful as a reference book as well as a great inspiration to be creative and experimental with my college work.

I'm about to start a millinery course and I have known about hat designers e.g Philip Treacy and Stephen Jones. This book is beautiful, and the front cover illustration is so beautiful
