Monopoly Junior game is similar to the Monopoly game, but it's accessible and exciting for younger players. It is fast, simple and features kid-friendly properties. The game comes with four favourite tokens: Hazel the cat, Scottie the dog, toy car and toy boat. Players move their tokens around the board, buying the properties they love such as the ice cream parlour, the toy store and the skate park. It is so much fun for them to place a sold sign on their very own property. Single banknotes keep the transactions fast and easy. The player with the most money wins the game. The Hasbro Gaming, Parker brothers and Monopoly names and logos, the distinctive design of the game board, the four corner squares, the Mr. Monopoly name and character, as well as each of the distinctive elements of the board and playing pieces are trademarks of Hasbro for it's property trading game and game equipment.

Monopoly For Kids
The Monopoly Junior game allows kids to earn money the fun way. The game is like the standard Monopoly game, but it’s fast, simple, and accessible for younger players. Kids choose their favourite Junior token--Little Scottie, Little Hazel, Toy Boat, and Toy Car--and learn how to pass Go, buy properties, and collect rent. Once another player goes bankrupt, the player with the most money wins the game.
Kid Friendly Locations
Players move their adorable character tokens around the board, buying kid-friendly properties such as the ice cream parlour, the toy store, and the skate park. It's so much fun for them to place a "sold" sign on their very own property. Chance cards reveal unexpected bonuses, but watch out! They can also make a player pay when least expected. Single banknotes keep the transactions fast and easy.
Be the Winner
Kids can make their own decisions and experience the ups and downs of real estate with the Monopoly Junior game. Kids will be able to collect cool properties, make others pay rent, and try to own it all. Once any player runs out of money and can't buy an unowned property, pay rent, or pay a fine, the game is over. The remaining players count their money, and the person with the most money wins the game!

The good: Game play is fast with a couple of variations for more patient players. The numbers are easy (purchase price and rents are the same, no buildings) and rent is doubled for a pair. The chance cards are generous at the beginning (lots of free properties) but become more dangerous as the game goes on.
The bad: Not much. My only niggle is the quality of the paper money. It is both very thin, and very sticky. This was brought into focus by playing an old game of Totopoly which is at least 35 years old. The money from that has aged well, and still has a good feel to it.
Verdict: Buy it! I nearly bought the young version of Game of Life but changed to this after reading various reviews. This game is my best Amazon purchase in a long time and we enjoyed some fantastic quality time together.
They love it! Quickly grasped the concept of buying property and enjoyed having their own money and taking the role of banker. Lots of exciting properties to buy like the zoo and ice cream parlour. Game is engaging enough that adults don't get bored and as it's over when the first player runs out of money the games aren't too long.
Four chunky player pieces and easy cardboard tabs to denote property ownership. Rent doubles if you own two properties of the same colour. No building houses as in the classic version which keeps it simple.
Only criticism would be the money - it is grey, only printed on one side and is only one denomination. It's a shame it is not more colourful and varied like the classic game - if children can recognise numbers to play they can deal with higher denominations. Also likely it will wear and become damaged quite quickly.
To rectify this i used some sticky velcro tape and put a small piece on each card and resting place on the board. Now they stay fixed for the duration of the game
I highly recommend this for younger kids. My daughter can play normal monopoly but she needs constant reminding about things. With this she just gets it and it helps with basic maths too. The game is also not simplified so much that we cannot have fun with it as well. We play as a family and we can be competitive but fair with each other.
The game last slightly less time than the standard board game around 1hour for 3 of us,
My 3year old was a better age . I would say it’s more suitable for preschool/year one than older junior children.
