1.0 out of 5 stars The spring is very weak 19 Jan. 2013

It took Hard Candy months to get this very over priced product out. Looked so good, in theory, and should have been the perfect case. The design, with the long clip, requires a very strong spring to hold the nano to clothing or a pocket. But it is feeble and the nano just slides off with any movement. Poorly executed, total garbage junk. You're 1000 times better off getting a cheap plastic hard shell case for a couple of bucks and glueing an alligator clip from the local hardware store onto the back. Had to return. And it seems the one I got must have been someone else's return as the seal on the box (and box itself) was all messed up from being previously opened. First negative review I had to write - but I hope I just saved you the hassle.

4.0 out of 5 stars A bit expensive but 6 months on it still works great. 10 July 2013

$20 is fair enough as long as the product lasts longer than the iPod. (6 months on it still works like new.) That spring better be the best spring ever made because that is the only Achilles heel of this excellent product that snugly fits the iPod, allows full touch of all buttons, with no loose ends or overhang. Make this a $12 product and I will give it five stars. Still, better buy this than worry about how a less expensive product might or might not work.

3.0 out of 5 stars Exactly What I was looking for but Weak Clip 8 Feb. 2013
By Josh - Published on Amazon.com

The case fits perfectly and it was exactly what I was looking for to use when I go running. However, the clip is rather weak so I am afraid it is going to fall off (although it hasn't as of yet). Also, the clip opens on the bottom so when I clip it to my shorts I almost always have to take it off to change songs or be really good at looking at it upside down.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing 17 Jan. 2013
By SocalDancer - Published on Amazon.com

After waiting for a back order, I finally rec'd my Hard Candy Nano Clip for the new iPod Nano. Wow, what a disappointment for $19 + tax & shipping. The clip fits the nano alright, but the clip part does not grip at all. It's not what I call a real clip that would stay on during any kind of a rigorous workout. It barely grips, so you must always keep it in the down position and possibly over a workout belt or your pants, but in a side position or otherwise, it could easily slip off. Save your money and see if Apple eventually comes out with an accessory clip for this great device. Sadly, this thing just has no real grip to it. I don't know how they can get away with selling it as a "clip."
