I love reading anthologies, particularly crime anthologies. They’re a great way to find new authors and experience eclectic writing styles. This collection was no exception, with a stellar list of contributors. Excellent writing, diverse, quirky plots with the central theme of marriage, and crime of course, so expect some murderous moments. An enjoyable read that I’d definitely recommend to all crime fiction lovers. I’ll certainly be seeking out more work from these authors.
An anthology by some of the best new crime writers in Britain. Read stories of murder and mayhem with one thing in common - it's all about marriage. Somehow marriage and crime seem like a match made in heaven - and this book contains 22 different takes on why that is true! . There's an added plus as well - all profits go to 'Hearing Dogs for the Deaf'.
Fascinating exploration of the many ways and means a relationship can end; some bizarre, some inventive and some downright terrifying. Each short story is beautifully crafted and completely different from the next, as you'd expect given so many different crime writers.
Brilliant short stories from promising new writers who were brought together at Crime and Publishment, a crime-writing course based in Gretna. Each one is very different from the next, showing how each author interprets the subject matter given.
A great collection of short stories involving crime and marriage. Great twists, shocks, laughs and tears. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes crime fiction, so many ways to leave your lover. And all in a good cause = proceeds go to Dogs for the Deaf.
