This book gives a whole new meaning to the term ‘cute meet’-who knew airports could be this exciting?
I’ve wanted to read Rod’s story, the ex Marine with issues, since first meeting him in an earlier ‘Bad Boys’ book, and it doesn’t disappoint. This is a hard hitting, on the edge story. Margo and Rod’s exciting and unconventional relationship puts the reader through the emotional wringer. Emotion shadows every graphic and scorching touch, making it worth reading.
Margo carries too much guilt around with her for one so young and when you meet her step-uncle Axel you realise why. He is so easy to hate and the perfect antagonist for our anti-hero Rod who will save Margo at any cost, even if she doesn’t thank him for it.
Enriched by the setting at the rodeo and on the ranch, this fast paced love story is easy to read and hard to put down. If you like your cowboys sexy and troubled, your heroines feisty and opinionated and your love scenes detailed and raw, this is for you

When that’s my cowboy fixation back up and running!!!
The cover was enough to have my pulse racing but dishing up Rod, the ex- marine turned sexy as sin rancher and I was completely done.
Rod is doing his cousin a favour when he agreed to pick up his soon to be sister-in-law from the airport – I mean what can possibly go wrong? A whole heap as you will come to discover...I mean it would be a pretty boring book if that was all plain sailing, so when Rod's trip to the airport lands him with a feisty filly in his lap, in the shape of the rebellious Margo, it was a case of letting the fun and games begin!
Now Margo had every need to kick back and cut loose, her life was a s***storm of epic proportions!
Her Neanderthal step-uncle has her on a very short leash as he flexes his muscle and does everything he possibly can to keep her under his control. He threatens not only Margo but also her family and instigates a reign of absolute terror on her but are his threats meaningless or does she really need to learn to toe his particular version of the line?
Personally I would have rather he was wearing the toe of her boot, implanted in somewhere exquisitely delicate…and I hope at speed!
But she sees the bigger picture or so she thinks and is facing the fight of her life to keep everything she holds dear safe from his repetitious contamination.
So can Rod, break this spitfire down, can he get her to drop the act and let him in to who she really is or will they spontaneously combust!
They were explosive together and on this occasion it was for all the right reasons!!
Put the most deliciously alpha male and the object of his affection (who just happens to have a touchy personality) together and we all know that the result is going to be downright sensational!!

4 1/2 stars!
I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review. This is my first from this author so I wasn't sure what to expect. Let's just say- HOT!!
Margo and Rod are on fire together. She drives him crazy but the more annoyed he gets the more he falls for her. The way they meet is hilarious, and also sexy...and not what you would expect a relationship to develop from. But Rod can't get her out his head. He finds himself just wanting MORE.
Margo has walls up a mile high and thick. She's had to because of her manipulative pedophile step uncle who is leading her around like a puppet on a string by threatening anyone and anything she holds dear. She has no one she can open up to because she's afraid if she gets close to anyone, he will have more ammunition in which to force her hand. The thing about her is, she doesn't really care if she gets hurt- she'll do whatever she needs to to protect her loved ones, no matter the personal cost.
Rod knows she's closed off for a reason and the more he gets to know her the more he wants to protect her. He just wants her to trust him, that he can make everything OK. But she keeps pushing him away emotionally. She lets him have her body, but not her heart, which is what he's really after.
The family secrets and drama in this book are insane! The threats, lies and betrayal run deep for BOTH Margo and Rod. They have to muddle through all of this in order to be together without anything hanging over their heads. She thinks she has to deal with it all alone in order to protect Rod. Given the choice, Rod would've done it alone to protect HER. It's only when they work as a team that they can conquer but it takes some work for them to finally realize that.
They bring out the best AND the worst in each other, which to me makes for a perfect relationship.
