As an Urban Druid myself i can agree with most of the things that he says in this book,For some Druids the thought of doing "Druidry" in an urban environment can be a bit hard to get their head round,as most are more used to a Forrest or woodland setting, but this book helps you come to terms and find a way to be a Druid no matter where you are.
Lessons and observations are laid out very well and it is not a complicated book that you could get lost in,I did find it useful and it was good to know that another feels the same way about the cityscapes as i do.
All in all a good read for those just starting on this path or maybe just want to look at their town and live in the same environment as the Author

Although a fairly short book, easy to read in one sitting, I enjoyed it. If you knew nothing about modern druidry then it's a good introduction.
Pretty much the bear-bones on the subject but I would recommend it as a starting point.
5 stars as it well written, instructive and concise.
I already know a little about druidry but reading this has helped clear what had become a thorny pathway.
Cheers Brendan.

“Have you ever thought that there must be a better way to life your life?” Asks the author in the very first sentence of the introduction. Over the course of 10 chapters, Howlin more than answers this deeply philosophical question. Aimed at beginners, the book introduces the notion that Druidry - a nature based spirituality is equally at home in the city and modern life. Beginning gently with Learning to See, Howlin’s clear but in depth explanations of nature, the wheel of the year, and getting into tune with the seasons is a perfect foundation stone into a deeper understanding of green issues and personal responsibility. I particularly liked the succinct summaries at the end of each chapter - great key words, ideal to be written in a diary or journal as timely reminders.

This is a very good stand along introduction to Druidry, and the only small improvement I feel could have been made would be the inclusion of more practical tasks, such as mediations etc, however it is definitely worth the cover cost and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering Druidry as a spirituality.

Fab little book. Written in simple terms, in a friendly and funny at times manner.
Would recommend this to people thinking of Druidry as a religion but also good for living a better life even if not thinking of becoming a Druid. Plenty of little exercises to try.

This is a simple, easy to read and practical book full of guidance and advice about making small changes in order to make daily life better. I found it informative and enjoyable. The book sometimes states what seems to be the obvious, but the way the author expresses it and the context within which it is set gives it a very profound quality
