Dust a feature of your camera?

There's nothing worse than using a camera covered in dirt and, if you let dust build up over time, you'll spend hours in Photoshop trying to remove the distractions that you could so easily have removed before. You need the high quality Lenspen Kit from Hama.

Clean up with Hama!

WHAT ARE MICROFIBRES? The thickness of microfibres is finer than 1/100 of human hair. Each thread is split into 16/17 micro segments by special physical and chemical treatment. WHY USE MICRO FIBRES? Microfibre wedge shaped cross section threads have more than 40 times surface area compared to normal fibres. These trap dust and dirt and clean easier and more effectively than traditional brushes, cloths and cleaning methods.

The Lenspen 3in1 Cleaning Kit from Hama!

The Hama Lenspen Kit 3in1 contains two lenspen with one being of mini size and a microfibre velour cleaning cloth (21 x 27 cm; 70% polyester, 30% polyamide) and is ideal to have in your kit bag when you require a quick clean between shoots. The ultra-soft cloth and brush pen is anti-static... it has been developed for effective scratch free cleaning of modern lenses and screens without the need for chemical solutions that may harm fine, sensitive coatings on some equipment. Simply wipe or brush clean to remove dust, fingerprints and every day greasy marks leaving a clear, streak free finish. Give your camera the clean it needs with the Lenspen Kit 3in1 from Hama!

One thing that i hate is smeary lenses, so far i have used loads of products with limited sucess. I was very sceptical of this product at first, so i tested it on an old cheap pair of binoculars and the results were amazing, all the smears and stains dissapeard after a few rubs. To get the best results you must follow the instructions carefully. The pop out brush must be used first to remove any grit, sand or sharp particals or else you might grind them into your lens........ Then you use the other end of the pen on the lens and make small circular motions with light pressure. If there are some real stubborn stains (like i had) i found that by breathing on the lens surface and misting it up, then using the applicator gave the best results. So far i have had superb results on all my optical equipment. I found it better to get this kit than the single pens on offer as my equipment has various sizes of lenses.

I bought this because we have one at work (which is now beginning to wear down after 10 years use!) and I found the lenspens to be brilliant at cleaning without using harsh chemicals. Having two pens and a cloth is terrific value for all the different lens types you are likely to find in your kit bag. Also being pens, they can be stored handily in your kit bag, ready to go during a quiet five minutes. They really do clean. I would advise caution and read the instructions. Use the brush first to clear away dust and grit before moving onto the pad and, in neccessary, the cloth. I have used it twice on my investement lenses and they came up a treat after a dusty spell at a tank display show ground - possibly the dustiest place I've ever been and it frightened the life out of me to think about the damge that could have been done without these products. The set could have been improved, probably, with a small pouch to keep the pens and cloth together in the kit bag (and sealed from general dirt)

Overall, a good product, great value and great service from the sellers.

I needed something to clean my lens and I have seen many different options available. These pens seemed like the best idea and the cloth included is a great option too. The pens arrived this morning just as I came back from a sunrise shoot and with some lens that needed that little bit of TLC. I opened the packet and looked at the product, no instructions.

I opened the packet and got both pens out and the cloth. The cloth was great for cleaning the filters on my lens, which is clear now.

THE PROBLEM. The large pen is fine, cleaned my glass when i took off the filter. The small pen on the other hand worked as though I was printing my pictures onto my glass. It left black ink type solution all over my lens which luckily rubber off with use of the large pen and cloth. The pad on the small pen seems to have very fine black particles with in it. Not what you want on a cleaning product for such expensive items. I will try to upload a picture of the small pen's artistic flare on a piece of paper.

Extremely useful pack of lens cleaning materials. The pens lift any mark off lenses & there are also additional brushes & a cloth. Very good value, I have seen them at a much higher price elsewhere. It is easy to pot them into a small pocket in camera or binoculars case.

Very impressed with this as a kit - decided on getting the full kit, so I had a small pen for bionculars too. Very simple to use & it will help clean my telescope, camera and binoculars!

Definitely a worthy purchase for your camera bag!

This is an amazing piece of kit for any photographer, whether amateur or professional, and I fully recommend purchasing it. I also have to note that pairing this kit up with the Giottos Rocket Blower (www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00017LSPI) is also very smart.
