Excellent quality, price and fit. I have already used it in the rain and wind and can can confirm it is weather proof. One tip I use laundry pegs to attach the cover to the stand to give it extra safety from wind. When I bought my Chiminea I did a lot of research and a cover is vital to protect the chimnea from the elements.

If you look at the picture on Amazon the cover encases the whole chimenea? It is the same scenario when you look at the picture on the packaging. Unfortunately when you take the cover out the packaging and place it over the chimenea, it only reaches half way down? It looks nothing like the picture.
Great quality rain cover however, the chiminea I bought was the Rancho XL by La Hacienda and this was the recommended cover for said chiminea. It only covers about just over half the widest part of the chiminea leaving the bottom half and legs exposed. I can bare with that however you may want to make a larger rain cover for the future.
This item is great for keeping your Chimenea away from the elements but the material is quite flimsy I was tightening up the toggle string and the fabric actually ripped slightly but I kept it anyway as I like my little E.T looking cover.
I have had 2 or these covers now and despite the "extra deluxe sizing" they don't fit all the way down to the bottom of the large chimenea. That said, the quality is adequate but given our soggy weather conditions in Scotland the poor cover has been battered to bits over the months hence the reason for a replacement. Looks like this is going to have to be an annual purchase and this cover is probably as good as its going to get.
Great quality and looks good as well, only let down is its not that long and only just covers the body of my X large Chimenea leaving the legs exposed to the weather.Check the dimensions and do not just go by x large
If you have bought the fire then you will need this cover... Much thicker material than expected and good drawcords. The only criticism is that where the cover meets the top of the chimney stack I have reinforced the joint with duct tape as the stainless steel chimney is sharp and thus expected after a short time that wind movement would rub it through. Address this and it would be a 5 start review
It seemed quite expensive to buy but you will never find an 'off the peg' cover to fit this particular chiminea. If you have purchased this very good chiminea then you will have to 'bite the bullet' over the cost of this item. The cover is quite strong and fits well - although it should since it is made for it. It has drawstring cords at the bottom. Buy it as you will need to have one.
