5.0 out of 5 stars UNBELIEVABLE VALUE 2 Jan. 2015
Verified Purchase
This cost £1.83 including postage from Hong Kong and coupled with a HDMI/HDMI x 5m cable costing £2.65, it gave me perfect mirror images of the screen of my HTC One X+ on my TV. What's not to like? I had already tried the WiFi devices, at great expense (well £30), and was disappointed with the lag and the fractured pictures. This is a no brainer.

It is okay. Works as expected. There were no instructions though. If you want to connect your phone to the TV, for example, you need to power the device through the mini USB port on the side. I figured this out after searching online. Can't fault it for the price.

Absolute bargain when you combine it with a pound shop HDMI. Same set up from Maplins costs you £20. Easy to use and great for when you are out and about to watch videos or show pictures on a big screen

Work great with my HTC one m8 but they are very poorly built. I have bought 2 now and both have broken when pushing in the micro hdmi lead and I was very careful the second time. I will be spending more money for a good quality one.

1.0 out of 5 stars Does not work with Samsung HTC OneX 5 Jan. 2014
Tried this cable adaptor with a Samsung LE26R71B TV. Neither my Nexus 7 or HTC OneX worked. HDMI error message is "Check signal cable"

It works fine. Just plugged it in and it worked. It's great for the money, but the lead to the phone is very short and using the phone with this device and HDMI cable and USB power cable all dangling from the phone is a bit inconvenient. Otherwise a really great product.

4.0 out of 5 stars working with HTC ONE M8 2 Dec. 2014
By Derekp
did not work at first with HTC ONE M8, tv only has 2 hdmi ports one has sky the other has dvd player, took that out and put a 3way hdmi splitter and tried to use that, it would not work, put it back to normal and read reviews on here, tried again only I took the hdmi cable out of the dvd player and pluged into adapter with power cord and fitted to phone, changed channel on tv to hdmi for dvd player and it worked, very happy as was 2 seconds from paying £50 for media link from htc lol
