I don't think that there's anyone who's not heard of the legend of Robin Hood. This story isn't the typical Robin Hood story as it contains dark magic and shape shifting, but it works very well. It's a really great read that's very easy to get caught up in the story as the author carries the reader along to the finish. It's well worth a read.

I enjoyed this fantastical short story of Robin Hood and Marion. Using rich description that is characteristic of Reedman, the legend of Robin Hood is given an eerie twist, with a sinister sense of foreboding almost tangible from the first appearance of the Wulflings. I enjoyed the accurate and very atmospheric description of the Saxon hall.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful writing 7 Mar. 2014

The house of Wulfings by J.P.Reedman is an adventurous, fantasy tale in which Robin Hood, his wife Lady Marion, and their band of outlaws, because of certain difficult conditions created by a pack of wolves, are required to take shelter in the house of Wulfings which is a ruin belonging to lord Ulfgar. Ulfgar turns out to be someone who has know Marion for a long time and Robinhood is suspicious of him.
Not only is the language used quite premium, but the display of literary expertise is fabulous. We all know the story of Robinhood, but this is the first time I've read an imaginative sequel to the main story. I simply loved it. You will find it as exciting as the story we all already know.
4.0 out of 5 stars Friend or foe? 26 April 2015

Do not allow the cover to fool you.
This is an extremely short read but one with a twist!
Robin meets a friend of the Lady Marion shortly after she has suffered from a suspicious wolf attack.

So the band of outlaws finds themselves in the house of a Lord. A family friend. A friend or o foe?
All is not well in this house or with this house. Robin may need his considerable skill to meet this challenge.

I really liked this short read and loved the fact that I could finish the entire story in a short sitting.
