The ex claims everythings fine and even befriends the new girlfriend but after accidentally running the new girl down on the road and seriously injuring her things go bad.
I was very impressed with the acting in this movie especially Mischa Barton to my surprise. She does a good line in menacing glares and some pretty creepy looks and as you find out just how deep her obsession goes with her ex boyfriend her acting helps to make the character believeable.
I love these bunny boiler movies and while this doesn't bring to many new ideas to the table, it is still a strong entry in this sub-genre of thriller. There are enough edge of the seat momments when you're willing the characters on and the tension is building to make this film a worthwhile watch. I enjoyed this movie.
I ordered this as it came up on a search I am glad I did, really enjoyed it
Obvious all the way just like all these type of movies but still good
The core plot involves a small town, a creepy house, and a femme fatale, played by Mischa Barton (who's almost too good-looking for such a role....and has a seriously weird accent).
Barton is the femme fatale, who plays an OK-on-the-surface but in fact mad-as-a-box-of-frogs home town hottie who runs a bankrupt bowling alley in a smalll US town. She pines for her ex, (Matt Long), the town's returning sports hero.
Barton contrives to run over, kidnap and torture her ex's incumbent girlfriend (Jessica Stroup from 90210), whilst she tries to re-seduce her ex.
This movie got well and truly panned by the critics, mainly because of the performances of the 3 leads (Mischa B in particular).
However, I feel that it's moderately entertaining for a rainy day, once you've set expectation levels to 'Modest'

On prime the trailer for this film is wrong. It shows 2012 film by same name but a rubbish movie...scared to pay rental in case its this 2012 version and not the one listed.Published 13 months ago by suzie summers
Borrowing heavily from other movies featuring pyschopathic kidnappers, this is a soulless and poorly-acted entry into the horror/thriller genre. Read morePublished on 21 Dec. 2010 by Scaroth, Last of the Jagaroth
