Is it easy to remove the dock from the Nintendo Switch wall mount? Yes! The simple design of our Switch wall mount makes it easy to slide the dock and Switch in and out of the mount.
Is overheating an issue? Not with our Switch mount. We intentionally designed our mount with offset openings to ensure that the heat from the Nintendo Switch Dock is not trapped.
What are the screws for? The drywall anchors and screws are for wall mounting your Switch console, while the included flat M4 and M6 screws are for VESA mounting.
What if my TV isn't wall mounted? No problem! With our Nintendo Switch mount you can VESA mount your Switch directly to the back of your TV, using the holes that would normally be used for the TV wall mount!
Will this hold up in an earthquake? Of course! Our Nintendo Switch wall mounts come with drywall anchors rated for 25lbs each, which is much more than the weight of the console! Plus, with over 10 years in the industry, we've never had a mount fall.

I have the HIDEit mount for the playstation, xbox and now the Switch. They're good quality and low profile. The switch dock has an opening at the back for cables to feed through so you can direct your cables either out the side of the dock or out the back. As were looking to wall mount the dock it would make sense to have the cables feeding out the back and into the wall so you dont have to see them. It would then give the dock a floating affect. Very smart. Unfortunately you cant do that with this mount as there is no hole in the mount big enough to feed through the cables so basically the cables have to come out the side. A bit of a shame I think. It's a good product but with a little more thought it could have been perfect. I thought about drilling a hole in the mount but it's a pretty solid piece if metal and I wasnt confident I wouldn't damage it. Still pretty happy with it.

If, like me, your worried about the switch's standard charger reaching, ditch Nintendo's Charger - I bought a Belkin 45W USB-C charger and a 3m USB-C to USB-C amazon basics cable and It works perfectly!
