if it was, it would have got 5 stars.
If you don't mind not having a backboard still worth buying as it does fit alot of dvds and blu rays on the shelves.
just as an added bit of info, if you are going to buy this for cds, you get to use all 9 shelves. if using for dvds, theres room for 6 shelves and 2 small shelves room enough for 4 cases lying down on their side. but if your like me and prefer my dvds and blu rays standing up, then theres room on each of the 6 shelves for 55 standard 14mm cases so 330 in total.
cd's only then be warned that the shelves will bow over time !
Mine has and is beyond repair.
Tryed turning shelves around but as its bowed the cd wont fit
It is now in the wheelie bin (re-cyc 1 mind !)
The great thing about this unit compared to others I've had is that all the parts fit accurately so you won't end up with a CD shelving unit version of Johnny Cash's "One piece at a time" LOL
My only minor gripe was that the center shelf is fixed and provides a lot of structural strength. This means that used as a book shelf you can't get the shelves spaced right. This is a minor issue but it did occur to me that anyone with basic DIY skills could drill new screw holes and move the center fixed shelf up or down a few inches to make the shelf spacing's fit their needs. I'd buy again.

Easy to assemble. Shame about the screw holes in the side, no covers. And the shelves sag as soon as you put cd's on them but you get what you pay for. all in all not bad.Published 12 months ago by Richard Hearn

You can not fit 378 DVD's on the shelves without laying some flat on one shelf. I was wanting to put all my DVD's on equally spaced shelves but you can not do this. Read morePublished 16 months ago by Andrew
