Gwyn started writing stories from the moment she could hold a pen. An avid reader, she ran her local library dry of fairy stories before moving on to the likes of Agatha Christie and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
Gwyn wrote her first novella when she was 14 and went on to write several books before publishing ‘Islands’ in 2016. Her love of writing led her into a successful career as a journalist, mostly in broadcasting, spending many years as a news reader for national news in the UK for the BBC and ITN.
She had a stint in PR until an interest in digital skills led her to set up an educational charity, Jersey Coders the teenage coding club and then eventually a role as Head of Digital Hub in Jersey.
Gwyn is UK born but met her Jersey-born husband and they now live in the island with their two boys and geriatric dog and goldfish.
Gwyn is the author of 'Islands' and 'Lonely Hearts'.
