Guy Mankowski trained as a psychologist and was singer in the London band Alba Nova. His debut novel, The Intimates, was chosen as a 'Must Read' title by New Writing North's Read Regional campaign. His second novel, Letters From Yelena, was researched in the world of Russian ballet, adapted for the stage and used in GCSE training material by Osiris Educational. His third novel, How I Left The National Grid, was written as part of a PhD at Northumbria University. In 2017 his fourth novel, An Honest Deceit, topped Amazon charts and was adapted for Audible. His influences include Siri Hustvedt, Harold Pinter, JG Ballard, Francoise Sagan and Milan Kundera. He is currently undertaking a tour of library events after the book was chosen as a New Writing North Read Regional title. See 'Event's for details.
