In this book we meet the broody, eldest brother Frank who is going through life miserable after a promise he made to a dying man to look after his daughter. Frank is no longer happy in the relationship and is just wading through his life by spending all his time at Sam’s, the bar he owns with his brothers.
Then one evening, in walks Claudia (Cloud-ee-ah) and they are both hot with the lightning bolt! There’s instant attraction, followed with guilt on Frank’s behalf because he knows he shouldn’t pursue anything whilst he’s still attached.
I loved this book. The banter between the brothers is hilarious and I can’t wait for Adios Pantalones ~ Princess Ryan’s book!!!
Frank is the oldest of the Fisher brothers, but he is also the unhappiest. With Nick having found his love, and Ryan happy being Ryan, Frank is stuck in limbo. He's been in the same relationship for years, but has felt stuck forever. It's a relationship that due to his kindness and feelings of obligation, he is staying in, even though he doesn't want to and he's simply not happy. He's just letting life plod on and pass him by, all whilst working hard at Sam's Bar.
That is until he sets his eyes on Claudia. As soon as their eyes meet there is an instant connection even though there really shouldn't be!! The chemistry between these two characters was on fore, and really worked well. I loved how their friendship developed, and how everything is dealt with when things came to light. A wonderful story, and one I feel that Frank dealt with very well =, even though there were times when I wanted to shout at him!
Filled with plenty of humour and banter between the brothers which had me laughing out loud. Plus the other secondary characters adding a great mix, you really do get lost in the family feel. I love books when they are centred around a certain place, and Sam's Bar is just the ticket. With the funny drink names and wonderful atmosphere, J. Sterling has created a place you want to find in real-life (Fisher brothers included please!!).
Bring on Princess Ryan's book!!! Can't wait!
4 Solid #FishWish Stars
I took a fancy to Frank in a big way. I think I was having a Fish Wish while reading! I admired his work ethic and his loyalty to family and friends. I felt for him, with his life changing moments and how it led him to be in this loveless relationship. When he met Claudia and he became himself again, I was exhilarated for him. Did I want him to deal with his situation earlier, well yeah I did, but I also got why he was reluctant to hurt someone's feeling and heart. Claudia's reaction to it all was so endearing and authentic. I could see myself feeling exactly like she did with all the emotions.
This is a new author to me, and it won't be my last book of hers either. There was enough little tit bits about Jess and Nick that I want to go back and read the first book in this series too. And I am sure that the lovable Ryan will be getting his own book, which I feel might be the best of the lot!

Claudia is such a fun loving girl next door. Like all of us, she has her insecurities and after so many bad relationships she is shocked by the electricity she feels every time Frank is near.
Throughout this book you will be torn. Frank is in a relationship, Claudia doesn’t know Frank has a girlfriend. Your heart breaks for the both of them but you know you need to let their course run and I honestly couldn’t out the book down.
What’s the saying? If you love someone set them free, if they come back its meant to be!! <3
This is book 2 in the Fisher Brother Series. The first book is No Bad Days, while you don’t have to have read it to enjoy this book (I hadn’t) I would highly recommend that you do. Only because it’s a great read and where I hasn’t read book one, I felt like I missed out on learning more about the brothers as they are individually fabulous characters!!
This book is highly recommend, this is Jenn at her best and I cannot wait to read Ryan’s story.
