Some useful tips and information to get started with. The book briefly covers the majority of ways to sell your images online. For the price well worth it.

I've yet to put what this book say's into practice, but It seems methodical in it's approach & I have no reason to doubt what the author states. It was easy to understand & worth every penny. As the book does point things that I hadn't thought of and it will be at my side when going about selling my work online in the near future. If the advice given works a treat I will certainly come back to add more as I would make further comment if it doesn't do what I'm expecting. However, I don't think it will be a problem listening to view & tips I have been given by fellow photographers when in forums asking similar questions about selling your work.

I very (and perhaps overly?) succinct but comprehensive listing of the potential commercial outlets for photographers. I feel that it makes light of the actual effort required to, for example, properly catalogue your images (which is after all not just a day's work(!). Perhaps somewhat dated in light of website development which is surely the modern commercial photographer's most-used outlet?

Some of his ideas are very sensible, others less so, but the enthusiasm he conveys is catching. I liked it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Needs to be rewritten in book format. 5 Jan. 2013

Note that this review was written before revisions were made. According to the author's note (see comments) he has now reformatted the book to correct the problems I mentioned. I have not looked at the revised edition, but I would assume that such corrections would raise the review to at least 4 stars.

1) Email course, not re-edited for book format. Being welcomed back on every page is pretty annoying.
2) The 'typewriter' typeface is very thin and difficult to read on the computer.
3)Not all are online. Many of the ideas require going out to local businesses and selling them a product that includes your photography (such as souvenir photos and mugs, or shooting cars at the local used car lot.) Viable ideas, but offline sales are a bit different than online selling.
There a lot of ideas here, most with at least basic steps on getting started. Some require a major investment, others practically no investment at all.If you can ignore the constant WELCOME BACK! and the thin typeface on the tips and notes, you'll at least get some ideas here. The book is not so detailed as to walk you through the processes involved, but it does highlight the general steps to take. Overall, I'd say the information is worth $2 or $3 dollars just to save you the time of researching it all yourself.

In this book you are given tons of great ways to make money with your pictures and camera. Some require more time and commitment then others but if you want to make money with your photography this book gives you a long list of ways and how to do it.
