There are quite a few of these books in varying formats from Board books to Hardback, plus a Pop Up book, and even a book of four seasons (all year around in one book or as individual books) and loads of accompanying toys etc..
This is a thin paperback - 32 pages - 24.7 x 0.4 x 27 cm with appealing graphics for young children (there are also videos on a certain video site that could be used along side this book to view or listen to while looking / reading the story.
As yet I cannot comment on how well children enjoy this book, but children of all ages like to listen to stories and look at attractive picture - they are never to young to listen even if it only to mum or dad's soothing voice in a relaxed environment.
I love this book and have bought it previously for my Australian Grandchildren. How much I love you has become a game as we compete to think of greater things to express vast love. "I love you more" whispered at the end tends to win the game! I was therefore disappointed to receive a very small book. It is about the size of half a postcard. I doubt that it will capture the interest of a toddler. I paid £3.99 in postage. I should have realized that the cost of the actual book at £1.50 was a clue to its size. I have just ended up feeling conned. This is an internet trick that is getting very old. I would have happily paid much more for a normal sized book. I can't be bothered to send it back. I expect the seller depends on that.
Lovely story and is great for bed time, he knows now to close his eyes when Little Nut Brown Hare does and goes off to sleep by the end of the book.
