Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler's creation is further brought to life by the many sounds of the deep, dark wood. Toddlers will love spotting the pictures that tell you which buttons to press and it helps hold their attention right until the end of the story. (Made for Mums)

Therefore this hardback book is one of his favourites. At this age he will press the buttons randomnly as I read the story but that doesn't take away from the enjoyment. The story has little icons placed throughout the pages that match the different sound effects and help to describe the story. As he gets older I'm sure he will enjoy pressing the buttons at the right time.
The in-built batteries are lasting well and the book is bound well, not suffering the spine separation that so many of his books have experienced.
In summary, a great book.
Kids absolutely love it - started reading it to them at around 2 1/2, and now nearly 4 (Twins - Boy and Girl)
Julia Donaldson always produces brilliant books which are colourful and encourage children to look at the pictures. Then they want to learn the words - result!
Well packaged and delivered on time.
That said he still loves it, I just feel slightly conned!

Sweet story. My granddaughter, and even I, was surprised that the Gruffalo's child was a girl, not a boy. Sound effects are good.Published 1 month ago by SueRod
