I was apprehensive about reading this book because I wasn't sure if I would like the heroine-I've read this series backwards (Goalie appealed to me first) and I knew Tiffany had played a part in ruining Santos' marriage although, let's face it, he was the  married  party who stood up , took vows and then obliterated the whole faithful element of said vows.

I found the characters fascinating and Rowen is a sweet guy who falls hard for Tiff and she finally finds someone who wants her for her , not just a warm, willing body.

I think for me, I struggled with seeing so many of the married players openly have sex with the groupies and the blow job contest was gross. This book really took me out of my comfort zone. I thought the nude pic being splashed across the web was written very well and with brutal honesty . I felt really sorry for Tiff.
HEA? Yes
Cheating? Not between Tiff and Rowen but at the start Tiff has explicit sex with Santos and Mack watches.

Groupie is the first book that I read by M.E Carter. When I read the blurb , I was straightaway curious to know what will happen to the "Groupie"Tiffany, what was her story...

We all have met a girl like Tiffany in our life( or we could all relate to the character of Tiffany) , who enjoys life to the FULL. A girl who has no shame to say that she likes sex with no strings attached.
In Groupie, Tiffany is the girl that hang out with the soccer team and there is hardly no guy that did not have fun with Tiffany. Her lifestyle was liberal. One day, Tiffany meets Rowen the "rookie" at a party and she could sense that he was different. He wanted to know her as a person, know where she was from, what was her job and more... he made her feel special. Will Rowen be able to cope with Tiffany's past? Is Tiffany ready to put her past behind her?

I really enjoyed reading Groupie, for once the strong character was a woman- She was the " slut" but did not care to be judged until Rowen. In this book, M.E Carter shows in a very clever and truthful way how hard it is to be a woman, sometimes. In general, men would not be judged for everything that Tiff did but when the roles are reverse, it is a different ball game. The story is real and the characters sensitive, honest, sweet and sexy.

“We all have. But those stupid things have helped shape who you are today. And I like who you are today. So don’t start losing all your confidence because one person is holding you responsible for the actions of two people. You weren’t the only one there.”

This is the first time I have read from this author and it's not going to be the last. I read this book voluntary in return for my honest opinion.

We meet party girl and bit of a goer Tiffany Wendel she's a highly intelligent but also a sports groupie. She knows that she gets called names but it's like water of a ducks back to her. She knows that she has a great body and isn't afraid to use it to her full advantage. As soon as she meets Rowen Flannigan her life's turned upside down.

Rowen Flannigan is the son of a legendary footballer but is determined to make it into the first team on his own and not because who his dad is. To do this Rowen keeps his family life and who his dad is under wraps.

Rowen isn't like all his team mates yes he's seen the groupies but to him sex is something that isn't done casually and with groupies. When he spots Tiffany he's amazed by her and the chemistry between the two of them is immediate. But Tiffany is a groupie and has slept her way through most of his team mates.

Rowen and Tiffany share some very sweet moments and Tiffany starts playing at your heart strings. But will Rowen be enough for party girl Tiffany? Will Rowen be able to accept that Tiffany is a groupie?

What I loved about this book is that we are so used to reading about bad boys it was refreshing to read about a bad girl.
