Introducing the Grobag twin pack, a fantastic solution which means you can get the solution in one go, at brilliant value too.
The Wash and Wear twin pack contains two Grobag baby sleep bags in fun unisex designs, Hippo Hop and Spot, perfect for when accidents happen in the night, or just so you don't have to rush to turnaround the washing. One can be worn as the other is washed and dried.
Other styling features
Grobags come in a range of styles to suit your needs.
Side zip: With double poppers on the shoulders, there are also under-arm poppers for when your baby is small. Opens out flat for easy nighttime nappy changes. Front zip: Fixed shoulders are great if your child moves around more – ideal for toddlers. Travel Grobags: Like normal Grobags, but with the extra feature of a two-way front zip and a back vent so it can easily be used with a five-point harness in car seats or pushchairs.
To increase the comfort of children in side zip closure Grobags, the zip-click feature was introduced, which helps protect the child against any rubbing from the zip pull. In the front fastening closure, the zip-click makes it harder for little hands to get to the zip pull, and prevents them from opening the Grobag on their own.
More information on Grobags
Choosing a size
An ideal time to start using a Grobag baby sleep bag is when your baby weighs more than 8 lb 8 oz (approximately 4 kg), which is around the age of 0 to 6 months. Your child's head should not be able to pass through the neck hole when the Grobag is fastened, otherwise the Grobag is too big. Remember to check the weight of your child. Please note that these are recommendations only, as all babies are different.
Choosing a tog
A tog measurement is a European warmth rating: the higher the tog, the warmer the product. Grobag baby sleep bags are available in four tog ratings. A number of factors determine the tog rating of the baby sleep bag that should be used, which include the number of clothes your baby is wearing, the temperature of their bedroom, and your baby's health.
What to wear
The Grobag baby sleep bag is a wearable blanket that will keep your baby at a comfortable temperature all night long. They are designed to be used instead of blankets and top sheets, and you need to regularly check your baby to make sure he or she is not too hot or cold, as all babies are different.
How to wash
All Grobags can be machine washed at 40°C. They can be hung out to dry or tumble dried on a low setting. When washing, it is best to keep the zip closed. You can iron your Grobag on a low heat if desired, always keeping the iron away from the zip or covering the zip with a cloth. It is recommended that you wash your Grobag with a detergent that is free from bleaching agents in order to retain its original colours.

I have the twin pack in this design but both in 2.5 tog (from John Lewis). I also have 2 1.5 tog Grobags so would agree with other reviewers that in changeable weather (e.g. Spring) it is certainly useful to have more than one option). The design is nicer in the flesh than it looks in the images - I chose it more because it was such great value (which is definitely the case now I've had them in service for a while). Both sleeping bags would be great for a boy or a girl. They're made from a soft cotton which feels cosy and washes excellently - these sleeping bags take a battering with our sicky baby and as yet show no signs of wear or shrinkage (I tend to line/radiator dry rather than tumble dry). The 2.5 tog Grobags are warm enough for colder weather (Grobag recommends 16 - 20 degrees for this weight, our house is usually between 17 and 19): he always feels comfortably warm when we get him out of bed, but never sweaty, so it seems the fabric is also breathable. The 1.5 is like a light blanket so good for warmer nights and also sleeping during the day when he may be wearing more layers than at night. Highly recommended.
The two different togs are very useful - during the hot summer she was just in a nappy in the lightest one and this worked well.
I am tempted to get a few more and in future would not look at brands elsewhere.
PS: In the main description of this product you find a good guideline on what your baby should wear under the Grobag according to the room temp and tog. I did find this very useful.
just one think I didn't like the most.. too many buttons. I was used to were the grosnug and was much easier to put the baby is. Also colours are not to great... I would like to see some pink colours or another type of design. This one's are bit ugly...
The articles themselves are well made and value for money spent.
The quality of the 2.5 tog is excellent and the little 1.0 tog although very fine cotton with a whisper of a liner inside the bag, is lightweight and sufficiently warm, even now in April! However, this is with baby inside the grobag, in a warm centrally heated house. I feel to use this 1.0 tog bag during the night-time, would mean a very balmy summer's evening with a constant temperature. Not such as we experience in UK I.m afraid.
I would recommend this purchase!!
We purchased the 0.5 Travel Grobag too - this has a front zip which makes it very convenient for changing nappies throughout the night. I unzip it before I lift him from his cot, then put it behind his back and head on the changing mat - this means I do not have to fully remove it, there is no bulge under him and he is not in direct contact with the cold changing mat which usually startles him. These Grobags are side zipped which are not as convenient, though certainly not inconvenient.
The design and material are good quality and the Grobag seems well made overall.
Some babies do not get on with Grobags but my son is very content in one.
If I could give half stars, this would be 4.5/5 - though it is not a travel bag, these could still benefit from a front zip.

Excellent. Baby loves it. He went in fairly easily after swaddling. It has come in handy a few times having the thinner sleeping bag when it has been hot in the summer. Read morePublished 1 month ago by Amazon Customer
