I first read this book when it was published in 1978 and I never forgot it. It came back to mind recently and I bought a copy, not sure whether I'd be disappointed in it or whether my remembrances were unduly rosy coloured.

I still found it gripping and fascinating - a book you don't want to put down. Although the parallels between the prophecies decoded from the internal measurements show very clear links to the historical record; Lemesurier, in one of his other books, points out that it's not a good idea to decode your own prophecy as you will do so with reference to your own set of beliefs.

This book seems to predict the Christian and European historical model and of course the author, being English, is coming from that situation (unless of course the prophets who built the pyramid knew it would be decoded by a Christian European?)

It's a book that raises many questions but certainly sets the reader off on a thought-provoking and potentially life changing journey. If not, at least an excellent topic for provoking deep discussion over the dinner table.

Buy it and read it.

Basic premise: measurements of the internal and external features of the Great Pyramid show advanced knowledge of the earth and its cycles, working in accurate measurements of the polar radius, days per year (tropical, sidereal, and anomalistic), years in the precession cycle, and the size of earth’s orbit – all while the interior design demonstrates a description of mankind’s spiritual development through reincarnations and gradual advancement towards enlightenment and freedom from this plane of mortal bodies with the occasional intervention of helpful Great Initiates/Messiahs/ascended masters… with the length of internal pyramid passageways also offering a prophetic timeline of one inch per year (the ancient “pyramid inch” being 1.00106 modern British inches) covering ancient history and future prophecy especially regarding mankind’s spiritual development and the return of a Messiah.

This book is far from a light introduction to these subjects. If I had not already been researching related topics for over twenty years (and writing some myself, most recently "End Times and 2019") I would not be “initiated” enough to grasp much of what Lemesurier has put together. But because I have been doing extensive research, I am highly impressed with this book, despite several key differences between my own conclusions and the author’s interpretation of the messages of the pyramid builders.
We both assume that the builders created the pyramid approximately 10,500 B.C. near the time of the last pole shift. We both assume the builders were people from an ancient, advanced civilization – perhaps one of several that have risen and fallen in the distant past, as Plato, the Egyptians, the Buddhists, and the Maya believe.

This has to be one of the most important and exceptional books that exists, especially if you are interested in anything beyond the material world. Two quotes from the back read: '...I find it a very, very remarkable book. At the end of reading it I felt that either I should throw it out of the window, or that I should throw every other book in my room out of the window and keep just it.' Anthony Smith, BBC Kaleidoscope. '...a most extraordinary book, quite inordinately extraordinary...' Sunday Telegraph. From the historian Josephus it is clear this was one of two surviving monuments built by an ancient people to pass on knowledge - who wouldn't want to know that information? It is an amazing book.
