I'm a sucker for cycle adventures but this never gets out of first gear. It's not impossible the author has a long essay in him, even perhaps, a book. This isn't it. The writer should read Andrew Sykes, "Good Vibrations," or "Dividing the Great" by John Metcalfe before writing about his next trip. I wish him luck.

I'd give this kid 5 stars for doing the trip but unfortunately to write a book and charge for it, in return, I (the buyer), would like him to be able to spell and have a reasonable grasp of grammar. For the book, 1 star, and that is being kind.

The author should look and learn at Crazyguyonabike, where he'll find 100's of better cycling journal's, these are just free blogs and far superior to this book, which, as rude as it sounds considering it's .77p, is not worth paying any money for at all for.

I enjoyed this book and could of had a better conclusion to some parts of the book. It was definitely a book that I could not put down and was funny too. They both at times were a bit lazy then sudden sporadic on getting on with their touring but, don't let that put you off.

I read some bad reviews of this book, but thought the journey itself will make it a fascinating read. The book fails to have any description of the stunning scenery I could only assume they were passing instead the book focused on misspelt diary entries like "had a pot of pasta on a roundabout". The book is in a style of a diary. With much interpretation one might be able to use it to study the travellers state of mind, but it fails to take the reader on the stunning journey he is clearly on.

It is like a good first draft. With much editing and additional detail it would be worth 79p, but as it is now I wish it realised it's potential it has as a travelogue.

I enjoyed reading this little diary this afternoon. It could have done with a bit more banter between the lads and more detail of the daily life.
