Although this book is incredibly gorgeous to look at, the recipes presented in it are largely too complicated and time-consuming for the average person. It's wonderful to see the creativity and presentation of these chefs (who are not actually vegan, they are just cooking vegan recipes for the book) but overall it's not a practical cookbook. One recipe even calls for a home-use cotton candy machine. If you're looking to be impressed by what you could do if you were a five-star chef and had a limitless budget and access to all sorts of weird kitchen gadgets, or you just want to see pretty pictures of vegan food, then go for it. But for everyday vegans, this is not suitable.

nice book with a good range of menus...the real test will of course be in attempting to recreate them!

J williams review sums it up completely, also stupidly I thought I would recognise some of the chefs...never heard of any of them,I must have had a sheltered life.
