A great read about a great player. The book contains some highly amusing stories that made me chuckle but i gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because a number of the tales did not divulge the names of those involved which would have helped create a more mental picture of the story. Nevertheless a first class book.

enjoyed reading the book, was watching saints at the time and knew paul he was always good to talk to and an underrated player the book was a bit short though, lots of it involving going the pub, but an insight to a players life at that time

A well written insight into the life of a Rugby League star. You do not need to be a RL supporter to see that loyalty to fans and team and being a top class professional sportsman can go hand in hand
