Intersting points within the book but seemed to skim through a lot of the information which I already knew. The Galatarsary incident was just a passing thing he did everyday. He does not apologise for much in this book. Wanted to know more
Mr Souness has certainly mellowed since his first autobiography No Hard Measures in 1987. Another well written book that I enjoyed which gives a run down on his life in football and near miss with death due to his health problems in the early 90s. Well worth a read.
Looked forward to reading about Souness’ playing and managerial career, but too much of the book is written from his media position. I didnt buy the book to read about his thoughts on Ronaldo or Messi, or how he thinks his teams and styles measure up with today’s. Too little about his time with Rangers and other managerial situations.
