I bought these as a replacement for the original S-cushion for Grado SR60i headphones. The StoreONE cushion ear pads were available at a price slightly cheaper than the originals, so I decided to take a chance and try them out.

The original cushions are fairly thin and although they are considered to be the "comfy" option from Grado, they are not ideal for prolonged use. When searching for a possible alternative and reading many Head-Fi forum threads, I found that many Grado users resorted to buying the compatible Sennheiser 414 ear pads (HD 414 OHRPOLSTER), which provide additional comfort. However, they are yellow, which looks a little odd.

These cushion ear pads from StoreONE appear to be made from a similar grade of foam as the original Grado S-cushions, but are approximately 1.5x thicker. The added thickness of foam offers that much sought after additional comfort. Also, I believe the thicker foam, which supports the driver slightly further from the ear, presents an improved soundstage.

I have used these for approximately 30 hours now and I am very impressed them. Without doubt the additional comfort has enhanced the usability of the fantastic Grado SR60's. A must have for Grado listeners.

The product arrived on time and in good condition.

Like most people, the original Grado covers (on my SR80i's) turned to a crumbly mess after 18mths. There's no way I was paying all that money for the Grado replacements, so I looked at these instead. For what they are, I even think these ones are expensive, for what they must cost to manufacture. That said, I'm happy with my purchase as they fit perfect (just be careful not to over-stretch them, take your time) and I've not noticed any difference in the sound. I've seen that some people have manually cut out a centre hole (or punched out several small holes) but I can't see why you would want/need to do this personally. No problem recommending these, I actually find them much more comfy than the original Grado earpads!

These fit my Grado 80i's perfectly, a nice snug fit. Slightly thicker than the originals this extra thickness does not appear to interfere with sound quality in any way.

The quality of the foam appears to be the same as the originals but these are much cheaper. Delivery was within 2 working days. Overall I can highly recommend these as replacements.

Grado used to box their SR80s, SR125s etc with these horrid pads that rubbed your ear against the mesh of the speaker - not these. They are a perfect fit, stay put, and are unbelievably more comfortable. I can wear them for hours.

The increased distance to the speaker seems to improve the resonance of the sound too, but this might be psychological.

The original pads by Grado started disintegrating and were quite oily, leaving marks everywhere. Nasty. Not these though.

£7 to turn an otherwise-amazing set of cans into something perfect. Bargain.

These are good replacement pads for my Grado SR60 headphones. I was trying the upgraded ones off the SR80, but found them too hard and uncomfortable. These are like the originals, sit nicely on the ear, and don't affect the sound at all, although a bit of a tight fit they do go on fine.

Grado replacement ear cushions for the SR80i cost a little over £20.
These are considerably cheaper, they arrived in a vacuum packed bag which the postman was able to post through the letterbox.
When I cut the bag open they quickly swelled to their proper size.
They were a nice tight fit on the headphones so they don't keep dropping off.
I've used them regularly for a week or two now and happily give them five stars.

They fit perfectly but were not the same as the originals.
They seem thinner and fully cover the area.
I have to add another sentence because the review box did not allow me to send a short review!!!

These pads are excellent, they perform (in my opinion) better than the Grado ones i have been buying in the past. For me they are ideal as they fit quite snug being a slightly thicker foam but they stop the headphones slipping as i have a rather small head. The pads feel more robust as I had noticed the Grado originals tend to wear out very quickly. These are a very good price and I recommend them highly, plus they were delivered free and promptly, so no complaints.
