Product Description

From the Author

My Life Has Been Changed By These Truths!
After having been a Christian for 29 years and a pastor for 17 years, God brought me to the place where I began to enjoy life in a greater way than I had ever known. Grace Walk is the story of my own journey from legalism into grace. It is a biblical teaching about the identity of the believer with the central theme being that Christ is Life. The book is written for any Christian who has a desire to experience greater victory. I'm just a regular guy to whom God has graciously revealed the truth which the Apostle Paul called "the mystery of the gospel." I guarantee that when you read Grace Walk, you will discover truths which can cause you to experience "what you've always wanted in the Christian life." That's not a sales pitch, but the testimony of a man who has experienced it first hand. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

This book changed my life! In plain language McVey hits the place where the Christian's focus is supposed to be. Often, churches never talk about grace in such an easily understood way. If you struggle with inconsistency, mediocrity, frustrations, and questions of why the "Christian Life" as you know it doesn't work - buy this book! Understanding grace is the key to freedom from legalism and grace is the key to living the Christian Life (that does work) as Christ intended. God Bless!

Grace Walk is one of several books, and authors that God used to set me free on the inside and transform my life on the outside; for the first time in over forty years, the inside and outside match up pretty close, as the masks fell away. McVey simply tells the story of his own life, emptiness and frustrations- Good works don't produced contentment, joy or peace, even for pastors, when done out of a must do for God mentality. The bottom line comes down to realizing that God loves you, dearly loves you, exactly as you are, warts and all, and that nothing you can do will cause Him to love you any more, or cause Him to love you any less. Just Loved and accepted. Simple and Profound- God's unconditional love - God's Unmerited Favor - God's Grace. The basis of a Peace Filled, Grace Full Walk. Greatly misunderstood in the body, and a foundation stone and requisite for the overflowing, victorious life that Christ spoke of. Thank you Steve for writing a life changer.

What can I do for God today? How can I make God proud of me? I am going to spend my life doing God's work. I do hereby resolve to ___________! (Fill in the blanks with anything religious.)
Steve McVey shows us from scripture the futility of trying to 'work' for God. Spinning our wheels for the Lord leads to burn-out and depression. Instead, Steve would have us simply enjoy a deep relationship with God. This relationship is sustained and maintained by God Himself! The Christ-life is not our responsibility. It is all the result of God's grace.
Easy to read and understand. The truths in this book will revitalize the life of any Christian who reads it.

Wonderful book about the Grace of God abounding in our lives through the story of Steve McVey's personal and observed stories. He relates them to the teachings of the bible so his book is based on the word of God. Bought for a friend to read.
